Opinion plus Parker is a leader and a general not just a good player.

But players like Dembele are special and make the difference. We didn't beat QPR yesterday because MD had a real off/lazy day.

No question Scotty Parker is a top player and his leadership, drive, mentality, braveness, work rate etc etc etc are great qualities but its players like Dembele that can change games, along with goalscorers of course!!

Parker isn't gonna take us forward IMO his behind Dembele and Sandro, who as a pair are real power houses.

I find Parker dwells on the ball just a bit to long whereas Sandro wins possession just as well as Parker and is quicker realising the ball. Sandro is the start of many of our quick counter attacks.

Would have to disagree, and didn't just want to click 'disagree' as that's infuriating.

I think Parker is definitely superior to Sandro technically speaking; he provides us with more ball retention and distribution. Sandro's big weakness is his passing range.

But don't get me wrong I would prefer to have Sandro in the most games (especially ones like Man United)

But I feel when there isn't a pressure on us to defend; like QPR yesterday, Parker is more suited to a game like that.

So in future I would be tempted if I was AVB to play Parker in less defensively demanding games where we know teams will try park the bus.

Watch Parkers game... the ball retention is a 1-3 yard one two pass a full cycle pivot clockwise and a burt forward or side way pass. Now theres nothing wrong with that, I'm not expecting him to be Modric and Parker does keep possession in fairness so does Joe Allen.

Sandro like Parker is Tigerish in the tackle the difference IMO Sandro actually has a forward more daring pass surprisingly he is the start of our counter attacks, ok it sometimes doesn't come off but is passing has been very underrated IMO...personally I have Sandro Dembele ahead of Parker but its a squad game and I'm all for rotation for the right games.

Parker is a good player and we will need him during the run in, but ( imo) Sandro is better and the future.

Sandro and Dembele were at the centre of things when we beat United at OT, and come Sunday afternoon, I believe full beast mode will have been achieved through AVB and Freund getting the two lads going pre match, Carrick will have nightmares, Valencia will be playing wide right and he'll stay there, for fear of being eaten, Young will dive and get injured and be asked to be taken off, leaving both beasts to patrol the field.

Shit.

As ever the official site are truly special at keeping us all up to date, I doubt they'll even mention it.
