Any rumours about our fixture list?

That's a great first 6 games. If we can beat Man City then the next five all finished in the bottom half last year (or below!).

Fuckity fuck, I have a tattoo appointment on the 14th, Man City at home is probably the game I was looking forward to most...

I know tattoos are permanent, but tattoo appointments? Just cancel it or change it - you'll be sorry when you're 70 and look like a sad old wrinkly chav grandad anyway!

So United and Chelsea get promoted teams at home again. How very odd.

We'll steamroller City at our gaff first up. They're bound to sign loads of new players who wouldn't have gelled by the first game.

We could and should be top after 6 games.

what interests me most is there's a game schedulded after the Cup final, and one on cup final day

is that a new tactic by the prem?

for a long time i've wanted a longer season - so am really happy that it seems we have one at last - but am a bit confused re the Cup final

Are you just basing that on when this season's cup final was? Because I was under the impression, though may be mistaken, that this season finished earlier than usual because of the world cup

Compared to most seasons, I can't see much to be bothered about, no real tough runs, fairly even spread of the more difficult games, and what looks like an "easy" start. Home games to start and finish too! Don't remember that happening before.

Sadly that leaves us with no excuses if we're stuck at the bottom with 2 points from 8 games.

I'll bet Harry won't abandon his mantra, look out for "This time last year we only had ............" tagged on to the front.

Triffic.

Official site has the fixtures with cup dates up, it says there that the FA cup final is scheduled for the 14th May, a week before the season ends. Very strange, Wembley will be booked up too for all the play off finals around the end of May so maybe it's right and the Premier League aren't going to rush to get the season finished

I did the whole season on bbc predictor and I never had us out of the top 4 and unless Man U and Arsenal buy well I think we can challenge them all season. Chelsea are not frightening either.

Its good to know you've got your personal calendar sorted but what about the fixtures?

Classic, Spunky, made me LOL +1

I haven't even attempted the BBC Predictor...but I think we can challenge at the top next season. Citeh at home, can't see it as being any more difficult than getting the Scousers first day last season:beer:

hi lappi - no I'm not - to me this season looks longer than normal - i may be wrong of course

anyway i like the length of this season - mid-august to late may gets a good lot of sun into our fixtures

my old bones much prefer watching games in the sunshine

but also the longer the season the less congestion, in theory

I'm not sure but I think the FA Cup date might be affected by the Champs League final being at Wembley this year. So off to Wembley twice? :)

We have a relatively easy start except for meeting Shitty in the first game. If we play up to our potential, we might even top the table after 9 games.

I heard a rumour we're playing Man City in the first game. Not sure where I heard it, though.
