Yes I watch the game against Honduras... And it don't know much about Korean military, but I am assuming it's works the same way as it does in my country. (singapore) the only different is that even our first every gold medal Olympic winner still HAS to serve in the military. But he could be given unlimited deferments till he is ready.

I am sure, in Korean is juz like here, military is part of life, we are all proud to serve our country and we really dislike those who weasel their way out by running to a different country.

Awesome your country.. most of Korean don't proud our military service.
We think that it is just waste time because of too much injuries , suffering, regulation..

Oh we complain a lot too. But we still serve. It's the same in most countires. Thailand, Egypt, all has composary military service.

Of course the normal people like u and me get the usually treatment, but there is a special list for elite people. Either those who are rich or have parents of influence or are sports/TV stars. A lot of politics involve.
