Anyone see Kaboul take a pic of the fans?

I hope people remember how raw Ledley was when he was 21, he used to make plenty of mistakes. I dont think he ever looked top class until his season next to Naybet, lets give Kaboul a chance to learn from an experienced defender then some of you guys can choose to write him off.

Even by his own admission, he is a very quiet person. Not captain material at all IMO.

Personally, I think Jenas would be prime candidate. Reckon it might pick his own game too, as well as the fact he's done it before for the barcodes.

have you watched him on the pitch? does that look like a shriking violet to you? he bollocks everyone around him for any mistake - nothing is right - nothing is quite good enough - I can only judge him on the pitch and he is not quiet - he is a good slater (motivator not sure about) of the team

I like Kaboul, and I rate ihm highly, very highly in fact.

Its his first season and I'm sure he wouldn't have had to play so much if we had all our defenders fit, but he is doing a good job considering he was one for the future.

Can't knock the fella really.
We all knew King would be injured for most of the year, as he is every year.
The club should have bought a replacement for King this summer, but we bought one for the future.

I certainly suggest laying off this kid, as if he stays he will become awesome.

I take the mick out of Hollywood, but I actually think that given time, and perhaps more importantly an experienced partner at the back, he will become a very, very good player for us. He certainly has the physical presence, and an eye for the spectacular. The positioning / defending will come.

He certainly seems a character too, like with the photo taking, which was brilliant, and the way he went totally barmy after his goal vs Villa.

Imo he's future captain material, but not for 5 or 6 years yet probably.

Surely he's allowed an opinion without being abused for it?

Kaboul has made mistakes, but so has pretty much everyone in the team.

You have to remember that he is still young, is highly rated by all, and now has an excellent chance to improve (whether it be in the first team or in the reserves) under the training regime that Ramos puts in place.

I, like several posters believe that he will be quality. I think that the decision needs to be made as to where he plays i.e. centre back or defensive midfielder (which I think he would suit) and he is positioned there.

Hopefully he will be groomed to become a WHL legend.

He's actually a little bit mental. I can't remember what goal it was, but it was early in the season, and Keano came over to celebrate with him (not sure if he scored or what?) and he started doing this spacko-weirdo dance. Keano gave him the best "whatthefuckareyoudoooin'" look ever.

Mental. There was also some footage of the 125 photoshoot - he's a scary mofo that's for sure.

Kaboul for President!

why bash kaboul, when once again, regrettably, it was Dawson making the mistakes?

Oh, I see. So the tall French guy getting turned inside out and letting his man go was Dawson. My mistake.

it was kinda good to see too

it would have been easy for him after thursday to be a little moody in the way a lot of youngsters would have been

got quite a lot to learn but he has heaps and heaps of potential

Has he ever played in MF professionally, does anyone know?

Although lots of sources are quoted as saying he can play in midfield, I can't find any english references to him actually playing in midfield, so my assumption is that he has played very few, if any games there and it is more his style of play that allows people to make the assumption that he can play in midfield.

I might be looking in the wrong places of course.

What a ridiculous comment.

And yet you rate Taarabt so highly…

What don't y understand about that?

IMO, taraabt has the makings of a good footballer, in the he can actually use skills to pass players.

Kaboul makes stupid needless mistakes in and around our box, some of which from trying to do a "skill".

But at the end of the day, their two different players, so can't compare.

well said that man!

Kaboul has all the makings of a good CB, but its clear he needs guidance from a more experienced CB to help him develop

Thats the truest comment i've read. King looked good when he first came into the Spurs side with potential to become class. It was when Naybet played along side him for the 1st season that he became the solid legend he is now. Not sure what Naybet taught him but he picked it up and look how class he became.

If King can do that for Kaboul then we've good another quality centreback there

on MOTD it looked really fun, and that 4-0 win has done real good with our confidence. Hopefully we can build on this and string together a run of wins! and concede few goals..

I think it was Sol who helped Ledders early development. IMO Ledders was the finished article when Naybet came. Naybet was simply a GREAT addition who helped out the whole back 4 with his experience.
