Are we getting ahead of ourselves?

2 things for me;

1) we were the width of a post away from I believe going on to steamroller them.
2) I never criticise subs because they work or they don't, however I was disappointed when the tone for the 2nd half was becoming apparent that we didn't, bring on a Sandro for either of the wide players and pushed Eriksen slightly wider to keep there freed up FB occupied. That said maybe AVB thought with Sandro, dembs and Paulinho we wouldn't have enough outlets to find.

The thing is though mate, we weren't finding the outlets in the second half anyway before Torres was sent off. I'm not sure why AVB didn't bring Sandro on, they're could be a reason nobody is privy to, but one thing is for sure - it was definitely the correct move to make given how the game was unfolding. It might not have altered the score line in the end, but it was the right move to make.
