I too wanted Petrov at the start, but his season has waned so the jury's still out.

As for Torres, we should have gone in earlier on that one......instead of pursuing Kuyt and ending up with Rasiak......

I have to admit Steed was up for a slating when he joined but he came on in leaps and bounds last year and stuck some grit on the left side of the field.

And lately I've been shamefully wondering if Jimmy Bullard would have been a good signing instead of when we signed Danny Murphy.

I'd like to see that Croatian keeper in our goal next season, he looks like a touch of class. Celtic probably won't let him though....

I thought we were gonna have Diego with us and was over the moon, seemed close at one point only to fall apart..Which was gutting... I was excited by the thought of Scott Parker too, glad it didn't work out tho.. And i was chuffed we got Redknapp, he did well for a while.. Always wanted Torres and still do, think the guys immense.

Defoe was a good signing, and swapping for Zamora (who scored once for us, against the Spamers)was the funniest thing ever... Berbs i was unsure of (holds head in shame as i wanted Kuyt), Robbo i was over the moon with (actually wanted Leeds to go down so we'd get him).. And Daws and Woody I was glad we got, and Naybet..

So, I'm pretty hit and miss with what i think, but then, so are DC & DL, lol.

Spurs fans deluded? I once was convinced that Justin Edinburgh deserved to play for England! I also once thought we should buy Tony Daly (thank fuck that was a long time ago)!

I still maintain that Andy Reid is a good player - but concede he's perhaps not quite the quality we require.

On the plus side I have said that we should sign Anderton, Sheringham, Gazza, Ginola, Carrick and Berbatov before we actually did - but I don't think it took a genius in any of those cases to work out they were/are all top notch.
