Robben was the difference for Chelsea in both their league title seasons.

World class...but injured a lot.

I'd take him. Can win games on his own. Just don't rely on him..

He would take us from challenging for CL qualification to challenging for the league

One of the top 5 players in the world IMO

Wouldn't at all be surprised if he ended up back at Chelsea if they make the top 4.

Wouldn't work with him and Bale in the side - both can be selfish and whilst we can sustain one lacking in work ethic, two of them would leave us hopelessly exposed when we don't have the ball.

Great player, but not for us.

I love Robben, quality quality player. Can only see him moving to Man City if anyone though.

a player who would make huge difference to spurs and a match winner on his day without doubt.

did mourinho get rid of him though!??:grin:. not sure, cant remember but if jose was to join wud he sign such a player he once sold?

i cud see robben at arsenal myself. i think he wud fancy london club.

as for my opinion i would be all over this like a rash. top player who scores from wide and gets alot of assists too. thats guarenteed every saeason injuries or no injuries.

The past two weeks show why we could never attract a player like Robben.

Any team in the prem would welcome him. These players might toy with the idea of joining us then sit down and watch us against other top sides and see us get skull effed. They end hoping our recent batterers come in for them instead.

I'm surprised he's still only 28. Seems to have been around for ages.

Even if he was willing to come, would he be able to stay fit for enough games to justify the huge transfer fee and wages? It'd be another VDV story - fit one week, out another two. We can't accomodate too many crocks, especially highly paid ones, at the club.

Top player, but not an option in my mind.

Robben doesn't have issues with Bayern, but the 2 biggest German tabloids have started a "hetze" against him calling him selfish etc. because Ribery and Robben are keeping German internationals like Muller on the bench and that's why Arjen wants to leave.

Ribery had also talked about leaving in the past, but he really is on astronomical wages so I can't see him ever leaving Bayern.

Spurs (among other clubs, Chelsea and Arsenal from PL) have made their interest in Robben known to Bayern according to Dutch media.

I doubt anything will come of this unless he is willing to take a 100K drop in wages.

I know it doesn't mean much, but didn't he say he was flattered by our interest last time, but Bayern was too big to turn down?

I may have dreamt that though.
