if he was any good you would assume we would know by now. i think its a safe bet that this kid is not going to cut the mustard in the prem he loves himself to much. i don't know but he strikes me as a lad with serious attitude and will quite likely never make it but in his own mind be the best player to grace the planet.

I don't know if that characteristic rules out success in the Prem...Ronaldo for example seems to be doing ok.

thats a fair cal, but i just don't think adel has the right attitude he strikes me as someone that already thinks he's a superstar and is not willing to put in the hard yards to become a good player. hope im wrong, time is still def on his side but how old is he now?

he reminds me of Joe Cole when he was very young.
Hype hype hype, glimpses, dissapointing.... but in the end he did ok.

My impression of Adel is that he is talented but struggling with the finer points of the game (like, "Adel, it is a team game", "pass the ball occasionally", etc.), and that the concept that he needs to work hard to compliment his undoubted ability completely eludes him.

As in my original post, 'Arry made it clear that the door was open to everyone who was frozen-out under the old regime. Of the two 'outcasts' I would have thought most likely to be given a proper second shwoing (and maybe take it) were Adel, and KPB. 'Arry has bigged the Ghetto Kid rofl, but never mentioned Adel, nor put him on the bench (that I have seen). He is a player that many of us were excited about not so long ago - so the two most likely explanations are that he is injured, or that 'Arry has looked at him and said 'nah'. Which would be a pity, as if there is one thang 'Arry is good at it is bringing younglings on.
