Surely Liverpool would want him to boost their chances and pair up with Mascherano (sp?). And surely he would want Liverpool for the same reasons. Stay up North, family settled, high wage structrure, Prem challengers etc etc

I still think this is scare tactics and he will sign for Man Utd. We dont really need him anyway. Top class player for sure, but we've already got Keane and Defoe. We only got them back in January, and we're hardly in a position to replace either of those two.

Nothing like a monday morning article linking Spurs with a star player, nicely scripted for an Agent to raise his clients value & availability...

Would freaken love him in a Spurs shirt, but so would Real, Manure & probably Liverpool (in their kit of course...)

Levy will not break our wage cap for Tevez.

Would love him at the Lane like everyone else, but so unrealistic!

It's got bugger all to do with Tevez where he goes, he is not, as some people think, a free agent, he may be at the end of his loan at Utd but he is owned body and soul by joorabchian and so will do as he's damn well told and go where he's damn well sent.

Had we not just signed Keane again I would have thought this was more likely. With the current situation it should not and wont happen, even if Bent leaves.

Agree with Phantom. This might possibly have made sense at the beginning of January (as far as Harry wanting him not that he would come), but we signed Defoe and Keane in the January window and I just can't see how we could accomodate all 3. Something would have to give and since he would be pretty much an upgrade on Keane (our current captain and possibly Harry's favourite player) I don't see how it could happen.

Shame as he would definately be an improvement.

Well surely Sir Alex won't sell to Man City (local rivals) or Chelsea (title contenders) so I suppose theres a tiny little chance...

That said I'd still bet my house that he won't come here in the summer.

It isnt upto Sir Alex is it? Because his contract is owned by that chap with the long name.

He loves the Utd fans and I can see him leaving but I dont think he would want to be a judas and join City, Chelsea or even Liverpool, it depends on his ambition.

Spurs and great Argentinian's, definately some history there.

My prediction is that Arsenal will sell Adebayor and spend that money on Tevez. Wenger said he wants to bring in proven experienced class in this summer for A*senal and tevez is just that.

It is up to Ferguson in that he's got first dibs, and it's pretty obvious what the United fans want.

I can't see him leaving Man Utd.

If he did, it'd be for Liverpool, Chelsea, or at a push Citeh. If not he'd go to Spain.

He's unlikely to want to go from Champs league finals and back to back league winners, to a mid table team.

That said, if Spurs had the chance and I was 'Arry, I'd sacrifise any of the current front 4 to get him in a heartbeat.

I can Harry working behind the scenes to make this happen, he does like his improbable transfer deals, and he has waxed lyrical about Tevez a few times. Tevez and Rooney last season showed that you don't necessarily need a big man for a successful strike force too.

Unfortunately I think its all mute, and he will still end up at one of the bigger clubs in Europe. IMO Liverpool should go all out for him, he fits into their formation perfectly and is essentially a better Dirk Kuyt.
