Listening to talk sport on the way home they were talking about Arsenals new left back and how he got into the Brazil squad it. They said Marcello was the first choice until he faked an injury tried to tell his club "that he had fooled them about the injury" and somehow managed to send the message to the national side. Leading obviously to him being dropped... Which was quite amusing.

They also said that he is very good going forward but a little suspect defensivly more of a wingback than a fullback. Lets home he turns out like our brazillian LB eh?

I know next to nothing about the striker they picked up.

Disagree Arteta has been carrying everton single handily at time however they both have bad injury records

A good amount of Everton fans on Toffeetalk aren't too bothered about him leaving. They reckon he hasn't really been putting the effort in over the last 12-18 months.

He is a very good player and his move to Arsenal is likely to reignite his enthusiasm, but he's certainly not a patch on Fabregas or Nasri.
