I wasn't sure whether to post this or not, so remove if needs be.

An Arsenal fan has hanged himself after his team lost 3-1 to Manchester United in the Champions League Semi Final last night.

Suleiman Alphonso Omondi, a 29-year-old Kenyan from Nairobi was found dead at his home just hours after his heroes slumped out of the coveted competition.

Police confirmed football-mad Mr Omondi was wearing his Arsenal shirt when he took his own life.
Mr Omondi's friend Calvin Otieno said: "We were watching the match at Bamba 70 pub, and when Arsenal were defeated, Suleiman just walked out in protest and he was crying."

We didn't know he was going to hang himself until this morning when we received the reports and came here to find his body at the balcony.

Terrible news, wouldn't want that for anyone. He obviously had other problems though, it is only a game after all.

Bloody fairweather fans eh?

Lucky for him he didn't support spurs, probably wouldn't have made it out of school!

Seriously though it's unlikely that the game was the cause but perhaps the trigger.

Now there's a true Arsenal fan (and he's not even in England). If only the others would follow suit...

There must have been a lot of Arsenal & Chelsea fans crying this week. I fucking love it!!!

Although RIP Arsenal fan is probably more appropriate...

Maybe he had his life savings riding on the match? Who knows... Whatever it was, it's not a very normal reaction to defeat.

At least he went quietly

I'm surprised his family didn't take off the Ar5ena1 shirt and dress him in women's underwear and put make up on, just to save his embarrassment.

Must've been some other issues going on, whilst death is sad it is potentially one less nutter in the world.

He certainly wouldnt have made it out of school being a spurs fan. Would have been hung out to dry by his schoolmates.

Still too soon?
