What I think will happen is that Arsenal will go at us 200 miles per hour from the first minute and the first 20 mins or so will be vital. If we can weather the storm and get into our rythym then I think we can do well, if they blast us with one or two early goals it could be a long afternoon. They are full of confidence and will go in fully expecting to beat us.

I live five mins away from that tunnel. Arsenal media both official and not like to use it to present some urban rough toughness when in fact the railway goes over the top and for the most part it’s cyclists and families going too and from Highbury fields. Lovely cafes both sides of it. So it annoys me when they make it into some bollocks it’s clearly not.
The scones can be vicious.

IF we equalize in the second half I’d back us to go on and do it. I think we just might have that situation. Let’s see what we do with it.
As others have said too, just please keep our heads and don’t shoot ourselves in the foot. Make them beat us and earn it if they’re going to do it; don’t beat ourselves

With Perisic out I do wonder who will take his place on the bench. Looking at the possible first teamers who could fill his spot there really isn't much in an attacking sense with Gil, Sessegnon and Lo Celso still out, and with our attacking players in the u21s having a fantastic start to the season I do think maybe it could be one of them.

Yago Santiago is the main attacker from the left hand side but he's a different player to perisic, a tricky winger who likes to take on players and has an eye for goal having scored five goals already this season.

You also have Jude Soonsup-Bell, who, while mainly used as a centre-forward, has played off the right also, quite a direct player who attacks the defender and cuts into his left peg. Six goals so far this year.

Then we have my favourite player in the current u21 side, Jamie Donley. Central attacker who is like Kane in that he loves to come deep for the ball. He did start off as the main centre forward but now plays in the hole as the no 10, which suits his game in my opinion as he can pick a pass and is great creatively speaking. He can also play the Dele role inbetween the striker and no 10, just playing off the lone forward up top. 4 goals and 7 assists so far this season is highly impressive and the best part is he's a massive Spurs fan from a Spurs family so is fully COYS.

Out of the three I'd suggest Santiago would get the nod as he's the most natural wide attacker of them, and I would be happy to see him given a spot on the bench, but I'd love to see it given to Donley especially as he's a Spurs fan.

Our next u21 game is on Monday so we won't get any indication if any are involved as we would have had the game been before Sunday.

Getting anxious now.

Heart says Ange’s boys will march on to the Emirates and smash the scum 6-0, head says it’ll probably only be 3 or 4 nil

I can't see anything else apart from a thumping defeat for us
Could imagine your opinions before the start of the season 😀
You would have every reason to feel like it last season but very pessimistic considering thevery good atart to the season.

I feel the nost optimistic since the golden years of Poch era

Fair bit of pessimism around here. But this is almost certainly going to be a lot better than the two games against them last season where we had our bellies rubbed by them. Those games were depressingly predictable, going into them sitting so deep and giving them a man advantage in midfield.

I wonder if Ange will play Royal instead of Porro at the start. That way we can defend with our high line and possibly not be targeted down our right.

And I wonder if Johnson gets a start because his pace could be a weapon. We haven't really had to play on the break yet this season, but there might be stretches of this game where we have to get behind the ball and then pounce.

But I'll be very surprised if it's anything like last season. We should be much better than that.

If we can get to the half hour mark without conceding and then take it to them we could nick this!

The bookings in the last match have left me £500 in credit in my sporting index account, and my attitude is that that’s not real money, just betting tokens, so I’m up for a big bet for this one. I reckon there’ll be a few cards in this one as well so I’ll probably bet on that. I’m also going to bet on Porro scoring, and assists for Madders. I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to this game!

I've really not been that impressed with arsenal so far this season, they were about an inch away from losing to a dreadful United team, and drew at home to Fulham. Having said that its a NLD so I imagine they will come flying out of the blocks. I think it'll be a rough first 30 mins, we may a goal or two down but then we'll play our way into it and it'll end up being very close, maybe 2-2. I just hope we go there and put in a decent performance for once, and it isnt spoilt by dodgy refereeing.

Untill I see the Lineups I have no idea how we will do. Saw Martinelli and Party are a doubt that could be big for us

2-1 Spurs and Ange to do that thing to Lego that big boys do to little boys, you know, hold them on the forehead while the little boy swings punches wildly but can't reach? Then 'Tetz' to come out in the press conference and tell everyone he had Ange right where he wanted him because he drew a really cool diagram of a heart and a brain doing something or other.

Fucking 'Tetz'.

Just watched Ange's press conference. Lo Celso another 2 or 3 weeks away from fitness! Has there ever been a player less available to play matches?
