I’m watching the game again. Just got to 56mins and they’ve mention Kai Havertz for the first time, because he fouled Son and got a yellow. Seriously. I don’t recall him being mentioned at all.
Came on at half time , didn’t he?

I really have the blinkers on with Saka I have to say. I just don’t see it. I know I’m wrong, and I don’t voice it too often because it sounds like the same type of bitterness that rivals had about Kane, but I just don’t see top quality there! Must be the bias (n)
Yep he would walk into our side and thrive under Ange. The kid is class.

Ooh something we agree on! He's good, but everyone fawning over him is nuts.

Nketiah was a straight red - beyond all doubt

late leg breaking tackle

as it happened fast you can slightly possibly justify the ref not realising how bad it was ( I said red straight away tho) but there is zero excuses for VaR to not tell ref to have a look

when Dermot Gallagher on ref watch says a red could Have been awarded and it isn’t in favour of Man Utd, you know
It’s a stonewall red.
What absolutely stunned me on ref watch was Stephen Warnock trying to making an argument as of why a yellow was the right choice

I was shocked it wasn't red. On the commentary i was watching they said if that was on the leg as studs were up then it would have been a red. Now i'm fairly sure it is meant to be based on the player being out of control and intent, not just if the player breaks a leg or does some serious damage and that tackle was really really bad. It was impressive that Vicario just got up and carried on as i'm sure many keepers would have been rolling around for ages.

My gooner mate was at the game, he said they looked knacker off the ball in the 2nd half.

It's standard arteta tactics, press hard for 30 - 45 minutes, and try and put the game beyond the opponent, then take the sting out the game.

Kind of sums up their league campaign last season as well. Go hard and fast in the hope that if you do shit the bed, there is enough coverage not to get caught out.

He is a very good player but I don't like him for 2 reasons. 1 - he's a gooner, 2 - he always looks like he's about to burst into tears

The telling point was the delay before he dived in, he knew he couldn't get it and the ball was long gone before he took Vicario out, it was a lung at the keeper not the ball no doubt about that.

Ange's style of football faces a stern test on Sunday. Can we dare to dream about going to The Emirates without fear and putting on a show? I dare! This will be a very tough game but I think we are playing every bit as well as they are, if not better, so we need not fear them. Fulham went there and got something, Forest nearly did and Man United nearly did as well. We will need to have ice in our veins and not let the occasion get the better of us. Last season Royal's sending off scuppered any chance of a result there and we cannot afford anything like that again. With our relentless play, strong midfield showings and the benefit of a week of rest as opposed to Arsenal playing on Wednesday in Europe I take us to bring a point home. Arsenal 2 Tottenham Hotspur 2. COYS!
Just like Berbatov I called it!
