In my opinion, Dembele should have started this game, with Mason on the bench as a game-changer. Dropping Dembele completely form the squad makes no sense, especially since he didn't even play mid-week. It's Poch's call though and he's showing guts. This isn't Southampton though, where you can make brave selections and not get criticized for it if it fails.

Edit--Just seen Dembele got injured. Too bad. Stambouli on the bench might've made some sense then.

I would have started mason but in more of a 433 with dembele / benteleb/stamboli along side him to offer a bit more protection to our defence
