That's our problem, right there! Dembele had the ball in the middle and Rose was advancing into a great big bloody gap, Dembele on his stronger foot had to play him in..................nope cut back inside, slow the play down, allow them to recover.

I thought we had done quite well for 30 minutes or so but as we've tried to attack we've ended up leaving gaps and allowing them to get onto their groove. I thought the 3-5-2 was at least making it difficult for them, but now we may need to change it.

I'd have been happy to have contained them for an hour or so, and then become a bit more adventurous in the dying embers.

Should be 0-0 of course, but knew we'd hs to beat the ref also today

I'd maybe put on Janssen for Eriksen but there's not much options.

Probably a write off and hope lamela and Toby return after international break, Kane fully fit and rested.

Most likely out of champions league and certainly no longer talked up for title so pressure will be off, maybe we'll look better when we come back against spam

Were playing like proper mugs, we need to take the game to them. I'm so sick to death of the negativity of our play.

I think it's because of Wanyama personally, we look more solid in midfield but we play more negative with him in there, Poch won't drop him though imo, I am not saying Wanyama is a bad player, I just think he has affected our balance from last season.

Would have been interesting to know had Wimmer left that and one of the Gooners nodded it in would it have been offside. of course it would have been. So how is Wimmer heading it to prevent the arsenal players getting to it not classed as offside?

All hypothetical now sadly.

It was obvious any luck would go their way, it does every single time, every year.
Game over, lets hope we keep it to 1-0

just got to hope we turn it round against west ham, as losing to both would be just awful with Chelsea to then play

Who cares if it was offside or not. It makes no difference at this stage. We cannot lose this game. Going 6 points down to them and facing elimination from Europe with a squad that has 1 open play goal is a disaster for Poch. I don't think people get the gravity of what we're staring at here. Our season lies in the balance this next month starting today. We could easily have nothing to play for except 5th place come mid-December if things continue like this.

Our summer transfer activity is an absolute embarrassment. We've spent 90 million pounds on attacking players the last two summers and Son is the only one who will likely have any role today in a North London derby. Says everything, really.

Decent first half hour but it's been sloppy the last 15. They've had two great chances and they got lucky with the goal but we always play against the officials at their shithole anyway so nothing new there.

Still in this 100%

Son had a good start but has been nullified since.

We need to get him 1v1 more often.

The frustrating grey area of the offside rule!
No grey area there Wimmer had to head the ball therefore it should of have been offside nothing clearer imo just usual favouring of Arse like the non fucking fouls were pinged for but don't get the other way just bollocks

He been our best player this half

I disagree completely.

He needs to be an outlet from our CBs but he is being bypassed for long balls. If we want to start scoring, our CM2 needs fixing cause it is so risk averse that we are forced to play via our FBs

The worrying thing is they have big options from there bench, we don't have many options.

Wimmer had to go for it... that's why it's offside. Blatantly.

Can't give him too much grief for that.

Shape isn't going to work if we're coming from behind. Think we should revert to 4 at the back and have Dier in the CDM role. Wanyama for Jansen and stick Son into a midfield with Dembele and Christian - drop Harry into the hole.

Need to change something.
