Unlucky not to win it in the end. If we had more firepower off the bench, we could have nicked it.

Rose was brilliant. As was Verts and Eriksen was back on form. Some of his passing was excellent and should have at least two assists. We set such high expectations of him because we have no one else who can create. It puts him in the spotlight more than it should.

Son and Janssen were very average. The Son jump at the end was fine-worthy. Vinny, I just can't imagine ever scoring a goal in open play.

Good character shown. Another draw but I'm sure most would take this at the start of the day.

I had a feeling we would get a point. Everyone was saying that we would get thrashed, how great Arsenal are etc. - form doesn't necessarily mean much in NLDs.

Last season everyone expected us to beat Arsenal at WHL and they outplayed us

After hearing all of the doom and gloom since Wednesday we've seen today why Pochettino is where he is and the rest of us are talking on a forum.

I thought that was a really strong performance. Wanyama and Dembele were fantastic.

We just need a top class player in the final third with pace and guile.

Janssen needs time, some coaching and a sports psychologist. If he's not fit yet he needs to know when and where to run and when to conserve energy. Perhaps he's trying too hard. With a clearer, cooler/calmer head he wouldn't be slashing and missing at things. When we hit the post and he didn't get to the rebound, frustration got the better of him and he fouled someone and gave away possession. All this may be fixable.

Anyone who thinks that isn't a good point is deluded. No Alli, Toby or Lamela, an unfit Kane, a new formation, away at Arsenal, the form team in the league, who scored a goal that shouldn't have counted. We had enough chances to win it too. Overall, a great performance, literally bar the last 15 minutes in the first half.

Absolutely spot on-we are effectively missing the whole spine of our first 11 and people are moaning about us-expectations from some fans are totally beyond realism. We are still in the mix at the top and still undefeated in the league, yes it would be nice if we had won a few of those draws but that's not how football works.

Eleven games and still unbeaten. Considering that we have Lamela,,Alderweireld and Dele out injured a draw was a fair result.

And they had an extra day's rest...

If we'd had that extra day we'd have won 18-2 (both their goals offside )

Scandalous tbh.

Obviously thinking about international duty.
My wife said "that was nice of him to jump out his way" I looked at her and she was being dead serious. The result of the following conversation is that apparently I "want to injure opponents"

Let's all be honest shall we. Janssen has been utter crap in a Tottenham shirt so far.?He may well come good in time. But let's not pretend he's been anything but awful.

That is not true. He's not looked like scoring, but he is doing a lot good work, holding up the ball, getting shots on goal, even in this match he got a good shot on goal. Janssen is not a problem, he fits the system, and is a valuable player for us, but hopefully he will improve and become a goal-scorer as well.

I don't understand the "I told you so's" given our recent form nobody could have predicted we would have shown some spine today, we certainly didn't show any midweek, maybe if we would have shown this sort of performance in our last few games we wouldn't be sitting here saying "what if" right now.

I am more than happy to admit I am wrong about today, I expected us to get thrashed if Arsenal turned up and I believe they did turn up, I just thought we were excellent in possession and controlled the game other than a 15 min period before half time and honestly believe we were the better team overall, when Kane went off I felt we lost our attacking threat, however, we could have won that game if we were more clinical in the end, no doubt about it.

But let's not pretend we all had the foresight to suggest we would see that performance today and lord it over people who were pessimistic about this game, none of us had a clue what team would turn up today, the one from midweek or the one who will fight tooth and nail to get a result, we got the latter today, which makes the former all the more confusing.

We need the latter more often than not, hopefully with Kane back and Toby coming back after the internationals and with a few of our players "injured" and not going on international duty we can come back and strong and ready in our next match and really kick on from here.

I think today's effort and attitude has reduced my fear slightly that this is more than just bad form though, the players really did put the effort in today, I just wish they would show that effort in every game.

Ffs, it was a Nld, and we're unbeaten in the League - hardly a huge amount of faith required to have in a side that has clearly been very difficult to beat.

It was all over the top, thinking we're going to get hammered when our defence has been outstanding for some time, bar one or two sub par performances, which people jump all over and react in an over the top way.

We have problems in the final third in our attacking play but we were never going to get blown off the pitch today like so many in here were predicting.

BBC match report: two Arsenal players "appeared to be offside" for the first goal, and Koscielny was "harshly penalised" for the pen.

I love unbiased reporting.
Judging from what I heard on Arse match report on Final Score the other week, some of those BBC reporters don't even know the offside law. Their reporter at the game said that a goal was disallowed because Ozil was "way offside when he tucked the ball away". Someone should tell that 'football journalist' that the key moment is the player's position when a teammate plays the ball.
