Starting to get preemptive messages from LeScum fans trying to soften the blow of finishing below us for the first time in 21 years already.

They are getting stressed.
I had one tard tell me "don't disrespect Wenger, he finished above you spuds the last 20 years"

They got a bit lucky that Boro didn't take their chances. Wenger may have won tonight but he'll be going home with poo down his leg from the first 70 minutes.

From what I saw they were unconvincing, and their support celebrated a bit hard after beating relegation certainties who've fired blanks week in and out. Not sure what I'd prefer, seventh or a last day torment which sees them playing in Eastern Europe on Thursday nights? I' hope we smash the @@@@@ at the end of the month.

Sky talking up their top 4 chances after scraping past relegation certs.

Old habits die hard.

Plus their celebrations were a bit OTT for just winning what should have been an easy three points.

What are their last 6 like? Still concerned they might reel us in.

4 points is going to be a difficult gap to close - teams at the top do not lose often.
Same goes for us.
We both need to win them all - which will make for an interesting NLD (as long as we have got past palace.. I'm getting ahead of myself here...)

It's weird as Wenger played 3-4-2-1 and then dropped one of the best attacking right-backs in Bellerin to the bench and played Oxide-Chamberlain instead?

Bellerin has been shit this year. He is a worse crosser than Walker. Basically, think of every criticism B-C has had of Walker and multiply it by 10, then you have Bellerin of this season.

That's a surprise as remember seeing somewhere stating that his attacking play from deep was one of their best weapons but yeah just cussing an Arsenal work colleague and they're also saying he's been shite this year.

They've still got Debuchy who is a good right-back so surprised he hasn't been given more of a run (unless he's injured again).

It looks like a tricky set of games for Arsenal, although some of the teams may have little to play for by then.

If the Manchester derby ends in a draw or a defeat for City, then Arsenal may believe they're able to sneak in. But it's looking increasingly unlikely not least because they need to overhaul at least two of the clubs above them. I reckon by the time they play us they'll still be 7 or 8 points off 4th spot, albeit with a couple games in hand over City.

B-C would still have him in the team of the year over Walker though

Also 4 games in a row only 3 days apart from Man UTD onwards, ouch. Yeah two are stoke and Sunderland, but that's a tough schedule.

Every time I see a new post in this thread i wonder if he's been sacked or signed a new contract. You'd only get that at Arsenal wouldn't you?
