20 odd years waiting for us to finally be better than them consistently. I dont even check how they're doing anymore. I'm a bit annoyed Wenger got pushed out as they may get someone in who will get them right back up there
TBH, Wenger has had been given more than this two seasons which we finished above them to save his job. For the past three to four seasons we have been coming close to pip them to some bragging rights. We just shot ourselves on our foot on more than one occasion. The false dawn had already fallen on him and the club.

Yup even those 6 players are unbalanced. Aubameyang and Lacazette are both No 1 strikers. I doubt Aubameyang will be to happy to play on the left for a reasonable amount of time. Mkhytarian and Ozil are very similar and both have very poor work rate. There’s no way I would play both in same side definitely both luxury players. Debatable if you can even play Ramsey and Wilshere in same side as both are really attacking CM. So of this 6 in reality if you’re picking a balanced team at most you could pick 4.

Keown's got something right for a change....

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil was "not fit to wear the shirt" in their Europa League semi-final defeat, said former Gunners defender Martin Keown.
Diego Costa scored the only goal of the second leg to take Atletico Madrid through to the final 2-1 on aggregate.
Keown, who won three league titles under manager Arsene Wenger, said Ozil did not put in a "proper performance".
"These are crocodile tears I'm seeing. He's not conning me," ex-England international Keown told BT Sport.
"I bet he doesn't play again this season. He will have some emotional breakdown and won't be able to play at the weekend.
"He wasn't fit to wear the shirt for me tonight, and I have seen this a lot this season."

Interesting to see Wenger finally giving Kolasinac a proper go at left back over Monreal and dropping the dodgy Mustafi wields more positive results.

Maybe if he wasn't so stubborn he'd have had a better season.

Also, interesting how the Arsenal players can turn it on now he's leaving, shocking the mentality of some of these players these days...

Arsene Wenger admitted that Arsenal missed enough chances to have already reached the Europa League final and claimed that his players did not benefit from playing for more than 80 minutes against only 10 Atletico Madrid players

The 10th minute dismissal of Sime Vrsaljko helped Arsenal dominate the match but, even with 76 per cent of possession and 28 shots, this first leg ended with what Wenger called the “worst possible result” in the context of his team’s chances.

“The result is not in line with the performance,” he said. “Once they went down to 10 men it destroyed a bit the flow of the game and it was not to our advantage. You come out with a bitter taste because we had the chances to be in the final tonight.

Wenger - Last night : "I felt we played with great spirit and we were unlucky to play with 10 men tonight"

Looks a 2 horse race now allegri or Arteta. Be a massive gamble on Arteta. Allegri just turn them into another chelsea. Wouldn’t be pretty but they’d be a threat again. But Allegri is about as far removed from Wenger as you can get. If doesn’t get results early fans be all over him.
