At this rate arsenal might have the oldest and maybe slowest team in the league!

Still can't understand how they managed 50 points at home last season and a near-relegation form 16 points away.

I thought I was in the West Ham thread and was still debating whether Fellani would be a good signing for them.

Really odd business from them if all is to be believed. Does Emery realise how intense this league is? Signing slow lumbering players isn't going to get them going, especially when you look at the others.

There's experience and then there's just filling the squad with washed up never-have-beens.

Arsemania seem impressed, oh how I hope this goes through. But it looks like he's had better offers unfortunately. Anyway, here we go.......

Arsenal interested in Fellaini on a free and agree to his demands of £100k a week:

Pros:
Replaces Giroud's height.

Cons:
Everything else.
Imagine, it may be possible we will get worse at transfers now Wenger is gone.

£300,000 a week on wages on Ramsey and Fellaini. :yuck:

Probably announcing him with the launch of our 3rd kit. Seems fitting that it's coming in "Retirement Home" green.
If he signs, who ever signed him should be sacked on the spot.

I would probably give him the armband.

You'd probably get accidentally elbowed in the attempt.

Sokratis, Lichtsteiner & Fellaini. We go again! Allez Allez Allez.

Bring back Fellaini of old, Fellaini of Everton. Emery can do it. Must be crushing for the soul to be playing under Mourinho and Louis Van Chicken
- Nurse......... he's escaped

The Fellaini vs Xhaka thread on here is going to be a beast.

If Fellaini was 4 inches shorter, he'd be playing non-League in Belgium

If they really want to sign someone to elbow Deli Ali in the gob I'd happily do it cheaper than Fellaini.

What did we do to deserve this?

Xhaka is a world class playmaker and Fellaini will offer steel and defensive nous that will allow granit to dominate games.

Still need a better source on this before I actually top myself. :ROFLMAO:

We gave them van Persie and Sanchez, they gave us Welbeck and Fellaini.

Seems Emery is trying to put some character into the team with Lichtsteiner and Fellaini. Lee Cattermole coming up next.

Surely this transfer is against our rights under the constitution

The fact we're even in for him.......

Seriously, I can't wrap my head around this transfer. This is poverty.
Mediocre player and antithesis of what Arsenal FC stands for, football wise

"Fellaini is in advanced negotiations with another Premier League top club"-Sky sources. Well, that rules us out then

Clearly bollocks, otherwise I'm #EmeryOut.

On one hand this is a ****ing shambles of a signing, ****ing Fellaini playing for Arsenal is a disgusting thought,

On the other hand - there's every chance during a North London derby that he'll elbow Harry Kane in the mouth so hard he'll talk normally after it. But still, Fellaini in an Arsenal kit is a disgusting thought.

RMC claim Fellaini has huge offer (salary) from Besiktas & a Chinese club. PSG were interested but Tuchel didn’t approve

"...antithesis of what Arsenal FC stands for, football wise".

Selective memory or folly of youth?

Remember that people under 30 have little or no recollection of what Arse were before Wenger walked in.

Weirdo alert....

What.
A.
****.

Wow - I was at a conference in that (Eurostars Madrid) hotel just at the end of last week. Would have loved to have seen that muppet and reminded him of his "Gary Mabbut taught me loyalty" quote.

The free era. As they allowed so many contracts to run down, they now need to fill up the squad on a budget.
