If there is one hugely over rated player it's David Luiz...the guy goes 'walkabout' some games or just stands like a statue as forwards run rings round him. I have never understood what clubs see in him.
Am I missing something ??? ( No sarcastic answers to that question, please)....

Yeah agree with you on this

And he's had some hefty transfer fees spent on him as well, iirc

Chelsea said Sarri's reaction was "not related to any of his players".

They said the Italian was unhappy "due to not being able to practise set-plays" during training as the session remained open to the media.

Not sure why they couldn't practice set-plays, but there you go...
Pretty obvious, no? If the media record/report it then how they attack and defend set pieces will be available for Arsenal and their coaching team to use to gain an advantage. I know I would if it was available.

Why would this automatically mean that it should be easier for Arsenal??

Did Chelsea not push City all the way in the League Cup final despite Sarri being heavily criticised and reports of the players not liking him?

Did Chelsea then not beat us 2-0 only days after the defeat - in which there was a very public show of disrespect for the coach - despite Sarri being heavily criticised and reports of the players not liking him?

Did Chelsea not secure 3rd, finishing above all other teams in the top 4 race despite Sarri being heavily criticised and reports of the players not liking him?

Not too mention that this is a final, those Chelsea players will all want to win the trophy.

this game tonight is a weird 1 I don't want either team to win it. I would be happy if it went to penalties sudden death, and they are still taking them come August :ROFLMAO:

as I hate both with a passion I'm going to go with being fucking angry that Chelsea win it

I know what you're saying but by far the lesser evil is Chelsea to win.

Scum get no CL next season and fall further behind us.

Easy for me. For one night only I'm a Chelsea fan*.

*by "fan" I mean I won't despise them as intensely as usual and want them to lose slightly less than Arsenal.

Sarri doesn't strike me as the man manager type. I doubt he's giving some rousing, broken-english team talk that carries the day. In fact, his outburst may actually galvanize the players.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have been in shocking form for the last 2 months, and the atmosphere in Baku is going to be worse than the Library.

Europa is a meaningless prize EXCEPT for the ticket to the CL. So, in my mind, Chelsea have already "won." Chelsea winning tonight does nothing for them, and everything for Arsenal.

I'm absolutely cheering against Arsenal tonight.

I have a very, very mature stilton, (crawling up my lounge wall as I speak)....and an extremely nice Shiraz for tonight's match. Looking forward to seeing a Chelsea win, then Sarri and Hazard leave the club. Emery crying with their CL dreams in tatters.
Happy Days !!

I love everything about this post, apart from the fact that I want Sarri to stay. Having him there with his stubbornness and a transfer ban would be hilarious. :ROFLMAO:

Disagree rating for the first sentence, because I completely agree with the last. The Europa League is a very prestigious trophy and tonight I will be supporting Chelsea at least as much because I don't want to see Arsenal win a trophy of note as I'll be supporting Chelsea because there's a CL place at stake for Arsenal if they win (albeit them getting a CL place is obviously also a disastrous outcome).

Come on you Blues!

Perhaps getting through BATE, Rennes, and Valencia wasn't as hard as we thought.

Reminder, Arsenal's board says there is no money for additional investment. The core of this team is really old, Auba, Ozil, Sokratis, Lichsteiner, Monreal, Koscielny and Sokratis. Laca may leave without CL.

Dark days ahead for the Arsenal. :):):)
