I was being sarcastic. I hate the term Spursy especially because we are not Spursy at all really anymore.
Actually the word Goony is great.
I know mate, just banter

Oh my Fucking God
Gunners boss Wenger confronted referee Lee Mason and accused him of missing a string of decisions during Arsenal’s frustrating stalemate.
Wenger said: “It’s always the same with you.” But Koeman then saw the exchange and confronted Wenger before replying: “It’s always the same with you.”
It is believed that Koeman was annoyed after believing Wenger had complained at the officials on the touchline during Arsenal’s defeat at Southampton on Boxing Day.
Arsenal have signed Leicester scout Ben Wrigglesworth - the man who is credited with helping to discover Riyad Mahrez and N’Golo Kante.
Journalist Jeremy Wilson, who wrote the story for the Telegraph, said: "It is part of an ongoing investment in the recruitment and analysis processes around manager Arsene Wenger and is also further proof of how talent identification and the interpretation of football data is becoming such a valued area of expertise."
It sounds like Arsenal have landed themselves a bit of a coup.
BBC are reporting they have signed the head of recruitment from Leicester.
Sounds like they are trying to play catch up to our setup. Wont be long before these types of people will have transfer fees attached to them.
According to Lineker, Steve Walsh was behind Mahrez signing. Steve Walsh is head of recruitment since 2011, Rob Mcakenzie was "Head of Technical Scouting" from 2011 until 2015 and then Ben Wigglesworth became "Head of Technical Scouting" when Rob left and was a "Technical Scout" for 2 years before that.BBC are reporting they have signed the head of recruitment from Leicester.

Kroenke buying a £500m farm *is* linked to Arsenal not spending any money. By growing the cash pile in the club he grows the value of KSE.
Matt Scott @Matt5cott
By growing KSE's equity he can increase the amount of money he can borrow. This is then spent on revenue-generating assets like the farm.
Matt Scott @Matt5cott
He used loans to buy Arsenal, secured against KSE. The loans are serviced through revenue from eg the farm or the St Louis Rams.

Arsenal continues to hoard cash, which then permits more KSE borrowing and more purchases of cash-generating assets. Rinse and repeat.

Regardless of the new TV money flooding the Premier League, Arsenal will not go on a spending spree and they will not reduce ticket prices.

This is Kroenke's legacy to Arsenal.

I'm being challenged to provide proof that KSE borrowed to buy Arsenal. It's at section 8 on pp8/9 here: http://www.arsenal.com/assets/_files/documents/may_11/gun__1304684364_Offer_Document.pdf…

@bj_dunham @arse2mouse Together they make huge amounts of cash for Kroenke. Arsenal doesn't: generates equity. But it's same effect on team.

@elsamys Given the owner's motive for reckless prudence, you have to ask yourself what motivates Wenger to comply.
