This is happening apparently:

The only problem I can see is most of their fans have already fucked off home before the 75th minute.

They've got thousands of tickets up for sale so won't make a difference anyway

This idea came from the fam/blud guy on AFTV I'm sure.

Fair play but it won't do much, they're still buying tickets to like the pockets of the board in the first place.

Fair play? They're a club that hasn't spent a single season outside the top 4 since Wenger arrived there but now we might actually beat them in the league their fans throw their toys from the pram. Actually scratch that it seems every season these days Gooners have some sort of 'Wenger out' phase, fuck them and their entitled behaviour.

Right but removing the Spurs bias those fans are getting fleeced, highest seasons ticket prices in the country and they haven't made any progress whatsoever since moving into the Emirates. A manager who keeps making the same mistakes again and again and a chairman who doesn't care about the club, removing the Spurs bias and as much as I hate them, those fans have a right to be pissed.

They've won two trophies in the last couple of years and have not finished outside the top 4 in ages. Our fans would be happy with that.

They look like probably finishing 3rd this season. What is a good enough finish for them not to walk out?

Premier league win and on the side a champions league then the season is not a disaster. Such self entitled fans.

Yes but we are not comparing level of success here are we, our fans were ready to protest two years ago because we weren't seeing any progress, we thought the club was stagnating and there were no signs of the stadium being erected.

Arsenal aren't making any progress, it's obvious to everyone they're stagnating so I understand the frustration tbh.

In fairness they have been operating on a different financial plateau to us for a long time - much bigger wage bill and ability to lay down 50m odd notes on a single player if they feel the need. I think I would be a little hacked off if I was them. For about a decade straight they have not put forth a sustained title CHALLENGE into April nor have they advanced beyond the CL last 16. In relative terms, they are stuck in the mud with their wheels spinning and going nowhere up the way under Wenger.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think many fans would be happier if they could at least push for the title and be in with a shout going into the last five games and/or actually get to a CL quarter final/semi final. They have easily had the infrastructure to do so for a long long time.

If you look at Chelsea, City, Utd yes they have had their small ups and downs ( again in relative terms ) but at least for those fans there are seasons where they have all challenged/won the league and gone far in the CL. I'd rather have a season or two finishing 6-10th in the league across 8 years ala Chelsea if it also meant on 1 or 2 occasions my team won the league.

Just think though, January you are top of the premier league, the two teams challenging you are City and Leicester.

You would be thinking ok Leicester will drop away, City will probably kick on now so we need to do our best. We need a CDM and Striker still, we are in 3 competitions and we need recruitments. They go and buy a relatively unknown player to most fans in Elneny and call it a day. Then claim that the money is there to spend if needed.

You can understand why they would be pissed, they were right in the mix for the title and were at that point still in 3 competitions.

Speaking to an Arsenal fan yesterday he said they should've spent whatever they needed to, to get at least a striker in January, this as their best opportunity to win the league in a long time and they failed again, knowing that Chelsea, United and Liverpool can't be as bad as they can this year and the likes of us, City and potentially Leicester competing at the top as well, at the minute you would probably say next season anyone of 8 or 9 teams could seriously push for the title, quite scary how competitive the league is at the minute.
