Ozil/Sanches/ Bogarde to name just a few players that would not leave their clubs because no other clubs would pay their wages .
Two of those are or were Arsenal players and this tells me they are a badly run club at the top level He He He
These same players have a fortune in the bank and profess to love the game but not enough to take a pay cut they could well afford so as to play the game . It would not come as a surprise me if the same problem arises if they want to move on Aubamyang and Lacassitte .
At least we dont have to worry about being burdened with over paid players thanks to Mr Levy

Shearer!!!

Hes not wrong.

Their mentality is so weak. There are so many big egos. If they do get sucked into a real relegationbattle I would not fancy them to have the balls to drag themselves out of it. These players wouldn't have expected to be in that situation, so the preparation to fight wouldn't be there. Big Sam at WBA, Burnley, Fulham, Brighton. They'll be ready to fight for survival. I can't see Arsenal being ready to battle like those teams will/do.

Voldemort has made up his mind: Arteta out! Apparently also thinks that they can bring in someone like Pochettino, Allegri or Rodgers.

You only have to watch arteta's weekly post match interviews where he rues bad luck because the other team were happy to let them have the ball knowing they can't create clear cut chances to know they're absolutey fucked.

He genuinely believes that certain aspects such as possesion hold any merit whatsoever despite it not leading to chances and you know what I wouldn't be surprised if the board back him until it's too late because I get the feeling the board forced his hand on certain decisions such as Ozil and so they have to reasonably back him up.

If Brighton beat Sheff Utd tomorrow and Big Sam gets WBA off to a winning start against Villa, then as an Arsenal fan you would have to look over your shoulder. Even Burnley have two games in hand on them.

Sheff Utd are truly fucked though. 1 point and nearly halfway through the season is pure garbage

Mind blowing that Wilder’s still there. Although I guess you can say they’re already down so whats the point. Just try to get back up next season.

Watched that expecting to laugh at some outlandish views, but hard to disagree with much of what he says

People are gunna scoff at this but you and Shearer are right.

Look at their form!!! 12 games - 8 points.

Aston Villa, Leicester, Wolves, Burnley - turned over easily by teams either on par or lower than them. They only mustered 1 goal!

Leeds - couldn't score, let alone beat a team that lets in goals for fun.

Discipline - players getting sent off, players falling out with the coach, players getting banished, players fighting with each other, Leno criticising the dressing room, etc etc

Confidence - the more you lose, the more you get used to it and the more you find it harder to turn around. Even the easy games.

Ego - A lot of these players will feel that They are too big to get relegated, the fans will believe that too. Now if you are picking up points occasionally you can keep thay belief as you see the quality but Arsenal aren't showing it .....AT ALL.

Goals - They aren't even scoring, Even Fulham have found their form in this respect. This is dangerous because goals breed confidence. If your best goal scorers are in a rut and you don't have much elsewhere in the way of goals, how can you get that belief back?

Wage disparity - apparently some players are upset about the bigger earners, especially with what happened in the summer. This can create an atmosphere where the players feel they have a lack of connection with the club.

Unbalanced squad - Players over 30 who are past their best and not inspirational characters mixed with young kids who are not particularly great is a mix that develops an unmotivated squad. Those older players are making a lot of money and are likely to pass up on the opportunity of really helping these younger players. The younger players need guidance but won't get it. Especially when experienced pros like Xhaka are gettong sent off and falling out with fans.

Don't believe that Arsenal are not in danger just cause it's Arsenal. Leeds fell through the trap door under similar circumstances.

Now the one thing on Arsenal's side is the potential to bring in an experienced coach who can give them a short term lift and guide them to safety.

But right now, under Arteta and under these other circumstances it's not as impossible as some believe.

Also, remember Shearer was manager of Newcastle went down, he's speaking from experience of the circumstances and situation. He knows.

I don’t wish to intrude on private grief but does Saka have any end product ? He is clearly gifted with the ball at his feet but what does it achieve ?

I think Arteta is a good manager and they should stick with him, at least for the full season. Same with the squad, no need for any January additions.

I think any changes adds risk to the campaign to go into the Championship.
