The Chelsea midweek fixture could definitely be a pivotal week they have;

Southampton A
Chelsea A
United H

We have:

Brighton H
Brentford A

Not inconceivable that could be their game in hand gone and we make up points as well that week.
And Saints play good football and are anything but a pushover at home. As we know well.

His positioning was awful.

I think a lot of what Ramsdale has been praised for is shot stopping rather than anything else.

I wonder if Arsenal's defence have done a good job of preventing him from facing situations where he needs to come collect etc.

Because I seem to remember at Sheffield United he made several clangers in those scenarios

Yeah I’m far from convinced.

Fourth is theirs to throw away now and I still think they will as I think they are starting to get a bit lairy.
They’ve still got to play Chelski, ManU, WH and us with away games at Palace and Soton.
In the space of two weeks they’ve got Soton, Chelski, manU and WH.
Brighton, Leeds and Everton at home with Sandcastle away, games which on current form you’d expect them to take three points from.
They won’t keep up this form though or maintain the luck they’ve had without injuries till the end of the season.

Was hoping Villa might get a point today but they were outplayed. Arsenal playing better than we are at the moment but we will have free weeks to prepare for all our games now, apart from when we play Arsenal. We do seem to perform better with a lot of preparation.
Our game against them looks likely to be 11 or 18 May. First week in May has European games so they will prob avoid it.
Later the better for us. Skippy will be back fit.
West Ham game just has to be 3 points now.

Genuinely the first time I've seen the actual numbers. I've seen people discussing his moaning on here but that's as much as I've known.

50% less than anyone they're competing with for positions in the table & the guy is "raging" at how fixtures aren't fair.

What a cheeky **** he is.

Is there any grounds for the PL to potentially reprimand him? Nothing too severe, just a public flogging or something.

Ladyboy looking, Lego Headed ****.

They aren’t the only ones.
so frustrating watching Villa make it easy for them today

Can see them getting similar results against palace and southampton although palace can be tricky opponents so hopefully they get something. We really could have done with Villa turning up today though. I thought they looked a bit tired.

I'm staying wildly optimistic because what's the point otherwise!

So, 10 games to go each. I think it's safe to assume that we all agree that we need to beat them. So that would be 9 games left each with 3 points between us. That is doable.

I believe we have turned the consistency corner and today will show that and that we can actually win our next six. In fact I make us favourites for all our remaining fixtures, bar Liverpool away.

But I'll try not to get too far ahead! If we can win our next two with a GD of +4 or more then we will be ahead of Arsenal in 4th with them going into the Palace game (Monday night on 4 April).

So let's do that and give them something to think about! COYS!!!

When are the fuckers going to get their balls together to come face us at home?

I thought it might be last week of April but worryingly I think it might be sandwiched between Leicester and Liverpool as they were talking about it at the end of the game on sky and they mentioned that week.

Sky will want to keep it as late as possible to bill it as a top 4 Cup Final.

I don't think he's having a moan....what Arteta is doing is being very very shrewd.... he did the same with our postponed game....came out in the media...made some noise and got the PL to postpone their game knowing full well that they were on a hiding to nothing if we played them then.

He is doing the same now. He knows the state of play...the amount of games played by his team vs the other contenders....
He's playing the victim to get attention to how OUR rearranged game is scheduled.... smart and shrewd.

Easy to forget that he put the cones out for one of the biggest hypocrites and whingers in the game for three years... clearly he was learning on the job.

I don't know what will happen regarding final League standings for either team, but I think we will have too much for the Gooners especially at home. They totally ducked us earlier in the season and that still irks me

For me Arsenal have 4th spot to lose, they are the better team of the top chasing bunch. They are odds on to do it for me. Including us with both Utds we are inconsistent and although our form on paper looks good at the moment, I do feel our performances lack the solid structure you need at this stage as Arsenal are showing each week. Saying that, Arsenal get injuries, it could be over for them as they look a bit bare as a squad.
