If it isnt a bottle job then someone needs to explain what one is because as far as I am aware, that was the very definition of what a bottle job is in its best form.

Arsenal have conceded 25 goals at home in the Premier League this season so far... their joint most in a single campaign (level with 2001-2002)

Here we go….
Of course if the boot was on the other foot it would bottlejob utopia

Honestly, leading the league from week 3 only to throw it away with three games to go is the mother of all bottlejobs.
its the bottling equivalent of ‘doing a Leeds’

That is an absolute disgrace. It is a bottle job there is no other way of putting it.
Arsensl got knocked out of all cups early, were able to play a full second team in Europa until the sporting Lisbon.
this isn’t like Liverpool, who were getting 90 points plus and fighting in multiple fronts right to the end. This is a capitulation, look at their results in their last 6 games.
They bottled It… there’s no two ways about it. Losing to city is no disgrace but the 3 draws were embarrassing and that had nothing to do with squad size or anything, it was mentality and they bottled it.

Does anyone have a screenshot of the table when they were 13 points clear. All their fans keep denying it ever happened and it "was only ever 8 plus city had a game in hand"

Not enough is being spoken about their defeat to Man City.

They had more than enough time before that game to alter their gameplay and perform better in that match. Instead Arteta did exactly what everyone expected them to do and they played intoCity's hands. The manager bottled that game and the players just fell in line. They should have been embarrassed by that performance. It was worse than us losing 6 1 to Newcastle because of the circumstances around it. Man City could have easily got 6 or 7 goals in that game and properly embarrassed them. Arsenal just failed to turn up. Man City were good but they were allowed to be. You never saw Liverpool play like that in those decider games against City. They had a proper plan and the players stood up to them. But the scum did exactly what we expected them to do, they wimped out, they bottled it, they couldn't handle it. Wonderful.

Could it have been they were 8 clear and played before city that weekend? So the win took them 11 clear with city still to play?
I can only see 8 point gaps when I look at the end of the game weeks

I'm sure there was a point that it was 13 points different. But most of the time they had a 5 point cushion, usually with games in hand. I've found this website below which lets you search by dates, maybe have a try as I couldn't find it?

17 January it was 8 points - https://www.twtd.co.uk/league-table...Jul-01/todate:2023-Jan-17/type:home-and-away/
