From a moral standpoint that makes sense, but there isn't a lot of integrity left in sports anymore regardless.

i remember when i was young (my old man is Utd) and we played them last game of the season and if we won Arsenal would have won the league.

Spurs were pony as always that season and we went 1-0 up against Utd i was gutted, United eventually went on to win the game and win the title, i was delighted.

It is a part of my make up to despise Arsenal almost as much as i love Spurs.

Years of going to school with nomads in North London in the 90s/2000s whilst they won everything and we barely survived will do that to you.
Les Ferdinand has been quoted after scoring that goal vs United that it's the only time he's been booed by his own fans after scoring a goal

It's all fun and games for us fans wanting to throw the City game but no professional sportsperson would do that. Not gonna happen. Even in games where we look half arsed it's because the plan isn't working or players are having off days, not because they aren't trying. If City beat us to win the title, they'll have beaten us on merit (though City's merit is obviously also questionable for different reasons).

If it fucks over the scum integrity can go out the window. Them and the chavs have always been as dodgy as a nine bob note and neither of them would think twice about doing anything underhanded to stop us. Personally if it meant we’d need to lose to city to stop the scum from winning the title I’d have no qualms about ange playing the under 10’s.

Too right n all.

i don't expect us to walk it in the net for City, but i can't see us going hell for leather to do Arsenal any favours.

look at the Leicester season, players wanted them to do it and even if they didn't throw the game a natural lack of urgency to win games will mentally impact performances.

but if we did walk it in the net, i wouldn't be mad.

The interesting thing is I am friends with the chef for a first team player at Chelsea, sometimes they deffo do play half-arsed on purpose sometimes because earlier in the season the player had said to my friend "We are just waiting for the manager to get sacked". Anyways I digress. I hope we utterly batter them (it's my wedding anniversary too so i'd rather not be all down and depressed!)

Yeah fair point, when they got Mourinho sacked in 15/16 there's no doubt that Chelsea's players were at the very least very keen to get him out and it showed on the pitch.

But in a coherent dressing room with a popular manager, that stuff doesn't happen.

Few regretting falling into the “let’s go overboard laughing at Arsenal” trap.

Ok, semi serious head on. I 95% agree with you BUT, I do think fans feeling/club vibe can certainly have a subconscious effect on players. They won’t knowingly not try but they can definitely not put in that extra 5% needed to get the win and that can come from fans and stuff.

If we can stop Arsenal winning the league when we play Man City I genuinely think there will be renditions of Bluemoon in the home end and booing if we score to go ahead.

I want us to stuff them on Sunday and any other time we play them.

As for them deserving the title I am sick and tired of watching their gamesmanship and continual cheating.

Arteta spends more time on the touchline than his technical area and NEVER gets booked for it. Whenever they give a free kick away within 10 yards of the halfway line they always have a player standing in the way of a forward pass and the opposition always pass back, and that helps their press every time. As for Saka and the number of dives he takes always asking for a free kick or yellow card.

Really I am not bias, I just hate them.

I could understand the integrity argument if it wasn’t about Arsenal. This is the only club to have their place in the league not on sporting merit, but through bribes and corruption. Sporting fair play has not been earned by Arsenal, so it shouldn’t be give to them by anyone, let alone us.

As soon as we kick off against City I think every touch of a Spurs player will be whistled which is going to be quite funny.

When I see Arteta start up one of his impromptu team meetings during a game I daydream about driving a transit straight over them all.

I don't even feel it's entirely irrational.

Maybe if someone accidently leans on the underground pitch storage button, they'd all get eaten by the pitch...

Dont forget to reverse back over them
As a wise man once said:

Why you wanna fuck with me, fam?
I'm tryna live a square life, you wanna fuck up my plan
Under a bus, fucker, I'll throw you under a van
Throw the van in reverse and then I'll do it again

I can handle us being in the EL instead of the CL a lot easier then I can handle them winning the league.

There are posts in Spurs chat saying we’d rather be in the EL than CL.

I just can’t see how what we gain out of an extra 3 points against City is worth more than them winning the league.

I’d happily see Romero smash 2 goals into his own net against city to ensure Arsenal don’t win the league. Then go 2 footed into Arteta Cantona style whilst he’s waving his arms about on the sidelines.
Just day dreams but……

My preference would be a E-Honda flying head butt but I’ll take the Cantona kick straight to the face.
