I know these are pretty dire times at the club at the moment but I have a little story to illustrate why we all need to carry on.

My "friend" works for a very well known global publishing company who are currently in the process of creating a football book. They have been talking to clubs and associations all over the world to get permission to use badges and such like.

There is a page with Chelsea, the scum and spurs on the same page with Chelsea having the largest area and us and them roughly equal and slightly below Chelsea. When they wrote to the scum asking for permission they sent them an image of the page and in their response they stated that while they were happy for the company to use the badge it would only be with the condition that the page layout be changed to ensure that they came above spurs and had more page space than us because although they were not trying to be competitive or petty they should be more prominent than us as A came before T in the alphabet and apart from that they were London's most successful club!

There was no mention of Chelsea's large space on the page.

I ask you, how petty can you get? This came from a senior person at the scum.

They have no class and I guess that this makes the current crisis even harder to bare.

Being above us a I can see but more space because A comes before T? Wheres the logic in that.

Would be surprised if Peter Kenyon doesn't demand a 2 page spread on Chelsea, perhaps with a few honours creatively added under their name.

To be fair to them, which I never am, were I in the same position I would ask that Tottenham had the most prominent space and came first too. To me it shows they have people running their club that love their club and are passionate about them.
By the sounds of it, if Levy were asked about the Spurs badge being printed he wouldn't really care where it went.
