It comes across as a little xenophobic though, so I do see where Coyboy is coming from. Even though I don't think you actually meant it in that way at all.

He is a **** and he is French but being French shouldn't really come into it, he's just a **** because he's a ****.

For example if I called Adebayor a black ****, that would be wrong. He is black and he is a ****, but he is simply a **** for other reasons.

The real reason i typed "that french ****" was because i started the reply about Harry Redknapp, then put "that french ****" so people knew i was talking about Arsene Wenger and not Harry  Just lazy typing was all.

Anyhoo, i dont think we should ask such questions about the manager of our fierce rivals. Surely the better question would have been "what if we had got Sir Alex back in 84?" seeing as we almost got him. In fact March 84 is the year i was born, which makes me wonder if i am in fact cursed.

My nextdoor neighbour is French, and a gooner. He's a really nice bloke though which annoys me a little.

A very good manager. Astute in the player market, tactical nous, sound man-management, single-minded winning mentality, personal integrity, loyalty, nonse.

I've wondered a lot what would have happened to us if he had come to us instead of Would we have all the Frenchies playing for us and created a dynasty?

Wenger is a strange one, arguably his best signing in the last five years has been William Gallas. A player with experience, and importantly in his prime. If they had have signed a midfielder and a striker with similar experience they would have probably won some silverware in the last couple of seasons. But no, as somebody has already pointed out Wenger is stubborn, and it has cost him where it matters most. Winning things.

As a Spurs fan it is hard to be objective about Arsenal, I can admit they play good football but I optimistically hope that it all goes wrong for them in the next year or two, and that finally we can overtake them. Best case scenario - Barca sign Fabregas, Wenger is sacked and everything he built falls apart.
