Without wishing to jump to conclusions after only a couple of games this guy seems to have hit the ground running and looks like he is going to be dynamite in the P.L.

In a televised interview he said he had not refused Spurs but that Zenit had .

He looked like a cross between Berba and Luka when he got that goal from the left today .

I admit to a little smile when I saw him score that goal, I think that answers those who thought he would be a flop in England.

I'm still very disappointed we didn't get him knowing how close we actually were, but what a goal, very similar to the one he scored in the Euro's against Romania.

He may be a gooner but he's still my favourite world player.
