Same, although I did crack a smile at seeing the real Ronaldo bag a goal for Corinthians in his first league game. :-D

Is he still fat or has he shed a few kilos now that he's back in Brazil and the heat.

I would only care about Arshavin and how we missed out if Lennon, Keane and Modric weren't linking up so well. But they are, and we dont need another player like Arshavin now. He's a quality player though for sure. But Arsenal wouldn't be in fourth place without world class players. I still hate them.

Yeah Lennon is starting to bare a resemblance in the way he plays, his speed and ability to go past players is obvious but now his finishing is improving, when Lennon can score the kind of goal Arshavin scored on Saturday then i'd agree totally but yep definate resemblance starting to creep in there.

Im with Goldman on this one, he's just a player that we nearly signed once, thats it.

Some of you are swooning like he's a girl who smiled at you once and your sure if you keep going back to the same club you saw her in that you might bump into her and she might jerk you off in the toilets or something.

He scored one goal, he looks pretty good but he's on the same standard as loads of premiership players. A thread every 2 weeks makes whoever started it look stupid and a tiny bit pathetic, the fact he plays down the road with the frenchies doesn't help matters. Im bored of seeing Arshavin threads all the time, appreciating a good player has nothing to do with it, if that were true we'd all start about 3 threads every saturday evening.

So....er.....stop it....or all get a room together at least (not that anyone listens to me anyway)

we have a thread together will that do?

some people, just don't read the thread titled 'arshavin' if you don't want to read about it. I love him as a football fan, he is my favourite player.

I admit to a little smile when I saw him score that goal, I think that answers those who thought he would be a flop in England.

I'm still very disappointed we didn't get him knowing how close we actually were, but what a goal, very similar to the one he scored in the Euro's against Romania.

He may be a gooner but he's still my favourite world player.

yeah. it's a shame you had to lie.

Am I the only one who thinks that Robbo went down way, way too early and allowed Arshavin to scoop it over him?

A better goalie would not have let that in. If Robbo hadn't committed himself like that Arshavin wouldn't have had a chance to put it over him.

No keeper should be beaten at that angle when so close to goal really. Berbatovs goal at the Emirates was better. He was further out, and the keeper wasn't expecting it. Robbo was closer to Arshavin and should have expected a shot from there.

Ouch, that really cuts deep, that will leave mental scaring Eek

No lies, there were 1 or 2 on here that new the same thing, it just didn't happen in the end, september deadline day was the closest, could not have gotten closer, even Poyet came out and said he expected him to turn up for training the next day until something happend, I know what happend and it wasn't our fault or Arshavin's.

Everyone claims in one way or another, to know what happened.

Berbatov was a problem, thats all that can be said. He's moved had a huge impact on Arshavin's move to us.
