True, but you know what? If we could only beat one of Arsenal or Chelsea next season I'd rather we beat those west London slags.
Agreed. I've a grudging respect for Arsenal (sorry). their fans are bellends but laughable. Chesney & Wilshere aside their players are not the worst. Wenger has to be somewhat respected.

Chelsea are just vile from top to bottom & eveything in between. Vile. Revolting

Yeah, at least they go about things in the right way, more or less. Not sure I'd go as far as to say I have a grudging respect for them but I can kinda see where you're coming from. Close as I was thinking of putting you on ignore after reading that comment.

I'd add 'sinister' to that. Does Abramovich have links to the Mob or even the Kremlin? I don't know, and I wouldn't want to find out. I genuinely feel that football would be a lot better off if that organisation didn't exist anymore. I suspect that a lot of other people would look at the situation objectively and impartially, and agree with me.

One of my fav players. Great player, full of commitment and heart. Works his arse off now, doesn't take crap, but also gives the best interviews. Always honest never gives cliché answers, always gives an insight into is mind, the club or a coach. His performance against Russia was great, that chest control on the line past the player bringing it down while their player was pulling him back, then getting rid of the ball was top class.

He won't even be nippy soon, IMO he looks to be loading up some serious stress on his lower back and hips with that running action. He's an injury waiting to happen
Don't clubs work with specialist running coaches? If they don't, they ought to, because preventing such injuries is better than curing them. These players are expensive athletes, and helping them to look after themselves can only help the team/club, as well as the individual.

Most of Abramovic's money was made through ill-gotten gains and horribly exploiting the Russian people and government. It's fairly well publicized as well as the fact he basically owns Chelsea so that he has a highly visible English owned asset to try and keep him safe from Putin.

I'm surprised people haven't made more of his performance against Russia. Genuine world class.

And to think that a few years ago, he was such a hated figure on Spurs forums. Credit has to go to Poch and his staff as well as Rose himself.

I've been saying it all year. He is not better than Lennon at any aspect of the game and in fact Lennon should be in the squad over him.

He's had a better season with Liverpool in 2013/14 than Lennon ever had.

He has potential but has gone backwards this season but from next season he'll have a manager to get the most out of him.

So he was selected on that basis then? Cos he's been shit ever since.

Well he hasn't really been shit has he, the following season he was good but didn't reach the highs of 2013/14 understandably and he's been disappointing for City but the one thing he possesses is pace which is probably why he was selected.

Next season Pep will get into him I reckon.

Bale also lived in the Prince regent also for 6 months as it's the team hotel. He later brought a house an moved out but still lived there for a good 6 months, this was standard at the time, to help them settle.
