We do look tasty. What a signing Naughton is looking like being. He really impressed me on Wednesday, and what a ball to Lennon today. From the little I've seen I think I'd actually put him ahead of Bentley in terms of RM options.

Anyone see the interview with Keano and 'Arry? Is it my imagination or did there appear to be some tension between the two of them?

Not bad at all, bit dodgy early second half, but on the whole weve played pretty well over the 2 games

well pleased with the way we played in these two games

Agreed, we played some really stunning football and fully controlled both games. we looked to have good balance and a great mentality throughout the side.

I can't help it,but once again Tottenham have managed to give me real confidance for the comming season.

Seond half, different story.

Gomes kept us in the lead with two or three stunning saves. Very good.

Hutton came on and was involved in a goal, didn't make any mistakes and saw a lot of the ball. Chimbonda beforehand was fine for me, played well in my opinion.

Corluka seemed more at ease than in the first half, still not convincing. I guess he'll have to stick to being a top class right back.

Huddlestone made a couple of mistakes and when the pressure was upped he didn't seem as comfortable. Anticipating clever passes and snapshots from Geovanni does not seem to agree with him. Made a few good blocks though.

Ekotto didn't have a good half. He was sloppy on and off the ball, made some poor challenges and was bad positionally. Better now than v Liverpool though. Funny though, because he was fine in the first half.

Naughton came on and looked good. He's a clever wide midfielder than you'd imagine a natural right back to be. Good link up play, good passing, very confident and played a peach of a cross for the goal. He came on for Jenas, who had been in the middle and didn't play well. You can tell he's not as fit as the others due to his injury.

Palacios had to defend more this half and he did it well, but was doing a lot of it on his own because Jenas wasn't helping at all. Improved when he had Modric next to him but was off soon after as a precaution anyway. His replacement Livermore was alright, made one nice burst into the box but failed to make a decisive pass.

Modric continued to play well in the middle, always holding the ball well and always releasing the ball well. He's such a good player. He knew when to push up and when to drop deep.

Lennon did fine on the left, he still tracked back and helped out and he enjoyed cutting in. Good link up play with Keane and deserved his goal.

Keane wasn't as involved as in the first half but when he did have the ball he was good with it. His passing was good, his control was good and overall he had a very good game.

Defoe deserved a goal tonight but it should have been in the first half as he did have the chances. In the second half he still played well, was always involved and his passing was good, his control excellent. The best part is that he and Keane played well together.

I don't think there's much to get excited about over a bottle of champagne.

The players always look uncomfortable with these pre-season trophey presentations. Its like they dont know whether to bother celebrating. Here you have the trophey, no you have it

 No one wanted to take the cup from Keane.

You think they'd try to get a bit excited though wouldn't you.

Gomes is the only one really. What a legend

Haha. I think it was Chimbo, but whoever was spraying Modric with the champagne, that was funny!
