actually we played very well in the first half and there was a 15 minute spell in the 2nd half that could have been the downfall but its a PRE-SEASON game it has no showing on what will happen in the full season. If anyone believes this then are kidding themselves.
Anyway well done Spurs some slick football at times and kept on running, Im liking the look of naughton and modric looks great as always . Well done :clap:

We played quite good in the first half but the second was awful to watch. Yep, we won 3-0 but and that was good but absolutely nothing to cheer about when it comes to what actually happened on the pitch against a not so great Hull.
Game against spammers was better

Doesn't fill me with confidence. We were pretty sloppy at times. At other times we were knocking it around well. There was one very good move but Lennon messed it up, if we can cut out silly mistakes like that we could be a threat. If we don't we could be under threat

I didn't see the game and can only go on past knowledge of our weaknesses while holding a 1-0 lead, as well as some of the comments on here, but our back four most certainly won't be the same as our first league game. I'd also expect to see a.n. other in our midfield to shore up.

You've got to take into account though that most of those players have played four fairly competitive game in a week, which goes along way to explaining our second half performance.
Was really pleased that our players did'nt over celebrate winning the trophy. Shows that thay realise that the real work starts against Liverpool in a couple of weeks time.

The only negative about todays game was in defence, especially at centre back. But thats a situation we know about anyway. It was a makeshift defence and by far the weakest part of our game today. Maybe Bassong will sign soon, and Chimbonda was shocking but will probably be sold anyway.

Chimbonda was at times ok, and at times far too laid back. I have been more impressed with him at CB than RB pre season tbh.

I thought exactly the same as well. The whole trophy presentation made me laugh as well none of the players looked like they really wanted the medals or the cup thing.
Part from 15-20 mins in second half thought we played well today. Things certainly look a lot brighter now than they did on Sunday night after the 2 performances in the Wembley cup.

Much better performances in these games than the Wembley cup,gives us a bit of hope i suppose.
