19:46 GOAL Asteras Tripolis 1-2 Tottenham - Jeronimo Barrales
Jeronimo Barrales goes for power and it does the trick. Asteras have four minutes of injury time to find an improbable equaliser!
19:45 RED CARD Fazio
19:45 PENALTY to Asteras
Jeronimo Barrales get the wrong side of Federico Fazio and the Argentine defender blunders into the back of the Asteras striker in his attempt to make up the ground. It is marginal, but enough to award the spot-kick.
19:39 Yellow Card - Ryan Mason (wrong player - should have been Stambouli)
19:32 Substitution Asteras Tripolis 0-2 Tottenham - Paulinho for Kane.
19:20 Substitution Asteras Tripolis 0-2 Tottenham - Mason for Eriksen.
A peeved Christian Eriksen trudges to the sidelines. Ryan Mason is on in his place.
Half-time change - Half-time change - Soldado for Lamela.
Half Time Asteras Tripolis 0-2 Tottenham
18:41 GOAL Asteras Tripolis 0-2 Tottenham - Harry Kane
You just can't stop the lad at the moment. Harry Kane towers up above the bearded Facundo Parra and buries his header from Andros Townsend's lovely lobbed-up invite of a cross.
That is Kane's ninth goal of the season. He has more than twice the combined total of Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado.
18:36 GOAL Asteras Tripolis 0-1 Tottenham - Andros Townsend
Andros Townsend dusts himself down, steps up and wallops a fierce penalty into the corner. Goalkeeper Kosicky guessed the right way, but would have had to set off halfway through Townsend's run-up to get there in time.
18:36 PENALTY TO TOTTENHAM Asteras Tripolis 0-0 Tottenham
Andros Townsend is haring to the byeline when Khalifa Sankare comes racing across to take out man, ball and everything not nailed down.
The referee deems it reckless at best and points to the spot.

WIth the squad we sent there it "should" be a comfortable win. Would be good as I am not up for a deciding game in Istanbul.

Indeed. I'm trying to be optimistic that we will go out and put in a good performance.

That's all I'm asking for. Is that too much?

Glad there's no Clarke Carlisle and Jenas is normally pretty good.

Why is Jenas a free agent these days? Possibly not Prem quality these days, but could surely get a club in the smoke.

He's a better pundit than player ironically.

Don't agree about comfortable. I am more interested in a good defensive display for once and will be happy if we can nick a win. OK we beat them 5-1 at WHL but it got a bit hairy at times with their fast counter attacks.

Did his cruciate ligament in the spring, still recovering.

He's still at QPR. Injured his cruciate in pre-season and has been ruled out for the season.

You mean you haven't been to the Off Licence yet? ;)
It seems when I mention my choice of liquid refreshment we win and play well. So, tonight I will mainly be drinking Carlberg Export-4 pints £4 Iceland. While stocks last.
