As many will remember Im an Aston Villa fan who runs a site called AstonVillaToday and our regular feature is Opposition View. I have previously held a Q&A session here back in November and thanks for peoples replies,so I return ahead of Aston Villa vs Tottenham Hotspur next Sunday.

I will post the questions and will publish them on my website once I have a considerable amount and give every credit for their replies.

Sorry avilla no time for all the Q's but i think Spurs will 2-1 (for the thrid time in four years IIRC). Yes Harry Redknapp will leave and i for one will be pleased about this although he has done a good job overall. Think you are in real trouble as i see Bolton getting something against us wednesday and i think McLeish will not be the manager next season. He has hand his hands tied though through lack of investment, key player sales and injuries. You have some good young uns and my mate who's big villa says Herd, Weimann and Carruthers are the best of the lot but that is never gonna be enough for anything other than midtable or lower.

13. Not yet, but I've not been able to get an away ticket at Villa Park for the last 2 years due to it selling out, so I think it will sell out despite the stupidly high cost of an adult ticket.

RE the 19 minute thing, Villa fans kicked off at Albion fans last week for not doing this, which I thought was unfair and unreasonable. This is at West Brom's ground and I'm sure none of them even realised Petrov was ill let alone that they had to clap on the 19th minute.

As a result of this I'm quite reluctant to go on with this ritual. Of course, I wish Petrov all the best, but I don't think he gives one damn about me clapping for him. I can't guarantee anything also given this will be in the middle of the first half. Many people have died of leukaemia who you don't know personally, so I don't see why this person should get so much adjuration, when so many have passed away without the bat of an eyelid from a football crowd. I will most probably clap though, no-one deserves an illness as severe as his.

7. For your sake, I hope not. I watched the Villa/Citeh game (Villa Park, obviously), and thought it was shameful that he clearly set you up to play for a 0 - 0. I said on here, this isn;t about how individual Spurs fans feel about Ville - this is Aston Villa at home, their manager shouldn;t be setting them up to play for a nil/nil at Villa Park against anyone. He also talks out of the corner of his mouth.
8. Impossible to say, right now. Modric, I would say is fifty/fifty. Hope to keep the rest of our big names. Fully expecting a new manager, I think it is only right that he give every single player on our books a new start before deciding who doesn't fir his plans, so it relaly is impossible to say.

10. Dunno - if I have to pick one, I would say Albrighton looks interesting (no idea what his current form is), otherwise Shay Given (but we are fully expecting a new goalkeeper this Summer, and I would prefer someone younger).

4. Because the players are poorly conditioned, both mentally and physically and because Harry does not know how to rotate the team effectively. It's no coincidence that we dropped off massively at the same point last season.
5. There is little doubt. God help us if he doesn't.

7. Although Lerner comes across a bit disinterested these days, I am sure that he will see sense and sack McCleish. Would have to be ridiculously oblivious/stubborn not to do so.

In: No idea but targets may very well include Vertonghen, Dembele, Kovacic, Hoilett, Moses, Remy, Leandro, Adebayor, etc. Hazard as well, but highly unlikely we'll get him. 9. Rodgers....or Ancelotti if PSG conspire to sack him (which seems unlikely)
10. This is the first season I can remember where I can see no Villa player that I would particularly want in the Spurs first team. Agbonlahor would probably be useful off the bench though, so if any I'd say him.

Unfortunately, Scott Parker. I say unfortunately because I'd prefer a flair player but they haven't stepped up and he's done a great job.

Don't think the game will be won but it'll be an all too rare moment of magic from one of our flair players.

It's not solely the England thing, it's a culmination of many little things. That's football. That's Spurs.

Yes.

Who knows? Who cares? He'll be gone soon. And a few of them will be as well.

I bloody hope not. My wife is a Villa fan and it's been bloody painful to sit through Villa games with her. Luckily next week I'll be in the away end and she'll be in the Holte End so at least I can enjoy it. McLeish wasn't wanted and he's done bugger all to justify the decision to get him. Get him out now!

Unlike most people I prefer not to waste my time speculating. It stops you forming a bond with players who then end up signing for the opposition. I gutted when Robert Fleck picked Chelsea. I had him in my subbuteo team. Sometimes, it works out well...
9.Who would like to see replace Redknapp if he does depart?
Again, the speculation thing. Whoever it is will most likely have my backing. Unless it's McLeish.
10. Is there a Villa player that fits Spurs style of play and would want to see at WHL?
Darren Bent. Would have loved to have him at Spurs this season. I was at Villa Park for his debut and cheered louder than the Wife when he scored the winner.

Under 3000 and £45 I think. Haven't even got my ticket yet. Must make a call in the morning...

Oh yes. If there's two away games I do a season, it's the Emirates and Villa Park. And bloody Loftus Road last week

I hope not, I still need a ticket. Went on general sale last Thursday morning. Don't wanna have to go in the Holte End with the missus!

Very poor January window when we loaned out any kind of back up we had in key positions and only brought in Saha and Nelson when we was pushing for a CL place. I am sure you will get a whole plethora of reasons why and all of them will be correct in some way as there is more than one reason why it has gone wrong.

Modric from first XI, quite a few squad players out as well such as Dos Santos, Bentley, Jenas, Bassong etc.
Don't know who we'll get in, hopefully Hazard but that's only rumours

Most likely. Don't believe a word of Harry denying it.

No. Because he's ginger... that spells trouble.

Depart - Modric and deadwood. (Jenas, Bentley, Gomes etc.) Arrive - IDK, as long as they improve the squad I'll be happy. 2 CF's, a CB and a CAM. Possibly a winger who can play on either side as cover, too.

Rodgers.

Bent, ironically. In all honesty, apart from Given I don't think any of the Villa squad would make our bench if we had everyone fit.

2.Which Spurs player has been your best this season? Different players at different times really, all of Bale, Adebayor, Kaboul, Walker, Rafa & Modric have had their times at being the best.
3.What area of the field will the game be won? I think Midfield as Im not sure you will be able to deal with Modders & Rafa.

7.Do you think Aston Villa will keep faith with Alex McLeish?if so why? No I think you need a change, a club with your tradition & players shouldnt be fighting for relegation with an inept manager. Your team is equally as good as Sunderlands etc so you should be there at the moment.
