Once Villa were 2-0 up, they hardly had any possession. They just sat back and occassionally hit us on the break. For the last half an hour, I'd say we have 75% of the ball, yet I never really thought we were going to score and was surprised they didn't get a third!

We passed it about beautifully; sideways and backwards!
In fact the only game we have not controlled so far this year is where we got our solitary point.

we've had the bulk of possession in 3 of 4 games, now. Im hoping that will translate to better finishing once the formation gets sorted out, but dont look for it anytime, soon. Of our 4 goals this season, one was an own goal, one was a lucky deflection to Bent and one was Bent's blind, unintended deflection tonight. I cant remember the fourth, but it doesnt look good for the league. Cant score and cant defend, where's that leave us?
