Going for the attacking option. I hope Ade can get back into form.

I'm guessing Dempsey is injured and Benny is still not fit?

Disappointed not to see Caulker on instead of Gallas.

This won't be an easy match, Villa will tighten up defensively and the longer they keep a clean sheet the more they will fancy their chances against us.

He really isn't .... No fan of Defoe at all but at least he contributes some goals and is some sort of threat. Adebayor is simply going through the motions as he has done at every club he has been at after the first dozen games
Not sure if you understand football orrrrrr?

Would have rathered we played Parker today next to Sandro and pushed Dembele further forward behind Adebayor but hey ho.

As it is, Vertonghen playing in his natural position will solidify our centre and hopefully keep Benteke, their biggest threat quiet.

Not the most exiting bench with two CB's and two DM's - honestly, why the fuck can't we have a place for someone like Falque instead of Livermore is totally beyond me!

In any case, I'm not expecting a classic but there should be enough quality out there for us to allow us to forge some good chances but Villa will be doing their upmost to make up for a humiliating loss to Chelsea so don't expect this to be straight forward at all.

Ade has much better all round game, but

Goals:
Defoe 13 goals
Bale 7 goals
Dempsey 3 goals
Verts 3 goals
Ade 2 goals

We need goals, and at the moment you cant drop one of the two players who have been scoring this season.

There is a concern now it appears AVB and him don't see eye to eye and that he could be on his way come January but that shouldn't detract from the fact that he offers an awful lot more to the team than Defoe and is undoubtedly the better footballer.

Two CBs and two defensive midfielders on the bench?

Their fans on their forum are really worried, apparently they are gonna play 5-3-2. Interesting.

I'm also worried by lack of inclusion of BAE he has been training for weeks now

I have had a moan about this the last few games now, guess its not a massive deal but it does seem very conservative. Surely you try and put some potential game changers or more attacking options on the bench? There is a host of young attacking options in the U21's, or even one of the young strikers, even if they aren't called upon, just to sit on the bench is a good experience for them and gives them encouragement to keep working hard and progressing.
