I hope that the club decide against a lap of thanks for the supporters next Saturday as it will be an embarrassment. I will go to the game as I’ve paid for it and have no chance in hell of selling it on the exchange. But I cannot bring myself to clap these players or that bald ****

Not sure what you were watching but that was definitely not the reason we lost this game.
They were the two goals we let in, right? Kane should have scored. That's 2-2 there. It's not as if Villa are shit now, there are a decent team that play positively

Son should have been the first one hauled off. Just for his tragic footballing display and shitty workrate and application. And yet he's kept on again presumably because they think well he's a better player and more likely to get us a goal.

How many times have various coaches kept him on for those sentiments this season? There's players and staff making big talk about standards the last few weeks.... Well at some point you have to send some signals. Haul off one of the "stars", maybe at the detriment of your chances in that ongoing match, in order to show that piss poor football and not running hard enough has consequences and send him and the others a message and a kick up the backside.

At some point you have to address it head on. If you want standards, there have to be consequences. And not just an assured 90 mins every week.
He was comfortably the best of our forward three in the first half. Which is saying something because he was still shite .

To think he become not even not a problem for us now.

Well done to him though. He plays with more maturity now, likely because he's becoming a dad. 👏👏👏

He stays.
At the risk of being blunt, I think the lack of patience for so many spurs fan has become a problem for the club. It's pretty clear to me that the biggest problem right now is a mentality issue Stemming from a lack of confidence which Results in them over thinking their next steps. Leading to a half second of extra time for opposing players to make decisions. This isn't all on jose or on antonio but they were a big part of it.

Royal gets his confidence back and the quality of his play picks up significantly. he still makes mistakes but they're fewer and far between. I'd go so far as to say that it isn't even clear to me who has to go because A man manager will be able to get a tune out of quite a few of these players who have played that a much higher level in the past.

I do agree. People seem to be writing off 99% of the team but let's see some decent coaching before final judgment.

He was comfortably the best of our forward three in the first half. Which is saying something because he was still shite .

Getting more ball just meant he coughed it up at an increased rate (and lets not start on some of the finishing and offsides). And he had one of those days where he was disinterested in running back. People bag our centre mids, but I stopped counting after a dozen times in just the first half where one of them had to forlornly run out to the flank, leaving just one in the midfield, because Son just abandoned his defensive duties and refused to come back.

If that's acceptable, then I give up. And the team may as well also.

Got beaten in the usual manner of individual mistakes, and starting fucking passive as normal. But didn't win because of shocking performances from the front men.
Villa had zero respect of our creative ability with their ridiculously high line. And for the main were spot on. The ball over the top was there all game, but no one good enough to either play it on time, or not over/under hit it. Just fuck all creative ability in this team outside Kane.
That said, they couldn't hit a barn door today anyway. Sonny again poor, Kane surprisingly wasteful. And Richarlison had 61 totally wasted minutes.

If Leeds need a win last game, they've got a great chance.

the trick will be getting them to play as a team, instead of 11 talented (well mostly anyway) individuals. Best of luck finding someone that can do that

I honestly think most of the players fon't care! They play as individuals not a team.
A l9t of team show great teamwork, some teams huddle around in a circle motivating each other....when was the last time we seen our team do a huddle and having a team chat?

I couldn’t watch every minute but from what I did see - Hojbjerg looked really crap. Is that a fair assessment?
He made a really good recovery stop on a Villa attack to be fair.

But that's the issue, he'll do a couple of decent things and it'll cloud the opinion.

When in reality he's a huge issue as to why we can't control games.
