Skipp and PEH got a good bossing today. But Mason’s options through the middle remain limited. Hard to criticise him for that.

PEH is ok, he's useful sometimes. But Skipp looks well below standard. Our midfield is literally 14th position standard. With bentancur and bissouma it's probably 6th. We need to buy a top keeper, centre back and centre mid. Basically a spine.

Genuinely think relegation next season could be a good thing. None of this is going to change without something significant happening

obviously don’t want this to happen but the Levy project just leaves me cold to the club right now and having coerced my son into supporting the club I’m wracked with guilt!
Steady on brother, I think you've had one too many today! What I will say though is, if we start next season with the same set up we have now, I can see another 2 points from 8 games situation and then a scramble to find a proper manager

Hojbjerg is tragic. Watch that back and find more than 10% of his passes that went forward. He is the massive part of our problems. Bissouma came on taking the ball in all areas and zipping passes around miles better than Hojbjerg, he needs to go.

Once Bissouma came on it looked a lot better. Sarr and him in the middle next game please but we know it won't be.

Along with Ben 'cut back and pass backwards' Davies.

Special mention for Lenglet who is also shit.

As a collective it's hard to believe there is anywhere approaching full commitment to this game. Players strolling around, zero closing down, zero intensity. They're not trying very hard.
It's so clear when you watch Real Madrid playing Man City during the week the speed at which those players close each other down was phenomenal. Every defending player was at full sprint to win back the ball. With us? We give them 5 metre head start and then jog half way and slow down and shimmy from side to side.
Pathetic 😡

Mason will always be exposed against experienced managers. Kane/Son may bail us out sometimes, but managerial we’ll be at a disadvantage.

I don't mean those who voted. I mean the Mason love - in that the Next Manager thread has turned into since the Nagelsmann news....
You mean the thread which asked people to err... vote. And 2.2% voted for Mason?

that thread?

Don't split hairs mate. You know as well as I did that the "time to give Mason a chance, he's one of our own " love in only started after those votes were made and after the Nagelsmann meltdown.

Mason...as someone alluded to a few posts up...could well be a 2 points from 8 games person if Levy is stupid enough to give him the job. And I have no issues with Mason as a person, he could be a really good manager in years to come with more experience , but he's woefully out of his depth currently

Sorry to disagree. If Mason is our next manager then we're done. At least Levy must consider the fact if he gets this wrong big time next season he will be finally out
We are already on the road to done. Teams having games in hand kept us in the top 4 artificially. Performances have been poor all season.

I'm talking about next season and even the next three years
