Joke club, joke manager. Joke star player as well, actually. Will look forward to seeing them go back down again.

I like Warnock I think he's done a good job at QPR, I don't agree with everything he said but he is right to say that the cup isn't a priority. Redknapp has said similar things about the Europa cup, which I consider to be a bigger competition than the Carling cup.

And now Joey Barton's been given permission to speak to QPR, according to PA.

Fast becoming a very dislikeable club!

"If I can't get motivated for the competition I can't blame the players if they can't"

If Harry said this he'd be torn to shreds on here

If Redknapp remarked upon the weather he'd get torn to shreds.

If he said that he'd be crucified. Then accused of blasphemy.

Maybe he is stupid for saying those things but players respect managers with strong personalities and a pair of balls.

Het got them promoted last season so I'll reserve judgement on his stupidity for now

Yes, but how many of QPR's players are likely to have won a major trophy?

I would be pretty pissed if I was a fan who'd paid to see the game and support the team.

I could just imagine us losing to QPR, with both Barton and Taarabat, probably in the FA cup.

It shows what a sorry state English football is in when finishing 17th in the Premier League is more important than winning a major domestic trophy & obtaining European football along with it.

It's about money though.

QPR know that they are in for a relegation battle this season. He is jsut saying what everyone thinks anyway.

They have little chance to win this cup, or the FA Cup, so rightly should be able to concentrate on the league. Afterall, that will bring in more money that a cup run.

I think Warknock will bring in the right players to stay up comfortably. They need another winger, midfielder and centre back as priority. Anything else will be considered a bonus for them.
