Don't know what the ruling is on max teams from one country but given the amount of English clubs getting to the later stages in Europe the English coefficient is likely to be on the verge of giving 5 English teams entry.
I would absolutely love it if we finished 5th and won the champs league with Man City coming 4th and losing their spot to us :lol:
The maximum CL entrants a country can have is 4 so no matter how good our co-efficient is they will not let us have 5 at least while Platini is in-charge anyway
England actually got five teams in that year. Everton had qualified 4th knowing that, the way the rules were at the time, they would be in the CL no matter what happened in Istanbul. When Liverpool won they got a "freebie" CL place from UEFA that had nothing to do with the English allocation and had to start in the 1st qualifying round.How many did we have in the year Everton lost to Villareal in the play offs?
