I see where you are coming from but I disagree. He shows the young players that attitude that is bad for the club will not be tolerated and that dedication and hard work is needed to be allowed into the first team.

It's a shame because he has the attributes to be a top player yet he fails to bring them out due to his mental state. Seems like we are having the same problem here as other clubs have had before us.

While he's still on our books I'll continue to support him and if(and that's a big if) he pulls on the Spurs shirt again I will be 100% behind him. But it's just time wasted until he is sold and AVB able to bring in the replacement he wants and needs for the squad.
I really want to support him but wasted talent at such a high level really winds me up. The guy is going to look back when his career is over and have massive massive regrets. He's not a kid any more, he's at that age where he should be valuing every chance he's got at this stage. Easy for me to say I know, but what else am I supposed to think? He's a waster, quite literally. A very well paid one, but a waster all the same.

His basic problem is arrogance, it's what stops him from being great, good as he is.
Bale, Erikson, Lamela and Sandro are good examples of players that are more humble and will go on to be great, because even when they are great [Bale arguably], they still think they have more to come, Ade believes he's it.

#thfc AVB on Adebayor: “He hasn’t trained with the reserves because he has felt dizziness in the last week and he was sick."

Not sounding good on Ade.
Just wish he would start training, the longer this goes on the worse it will become

Jesus, he sounds like a guy at my work. Every Friday he has a mysterious "stomach ache".

I have the words of a gooner mate ringing in my ears

He said you will get 6 months of hard work from him and then he will get comfortable and then it will be game over....

I laughed at him.

From Dwain a poster on COYS

Just got info from my contact who personally knows him - has always been accurate with his info. Sad situation, family issues. His head is not in the right place.
I take back a few things I said about him. Think he'll be gone by Jan however he will play again.
Harry really did want him but he didn't want to go there.

Well I hope that you laughed at him for being wrong? We got more than 6 months out of him, we got a wonderful first season, last season he wasn;t at the races, for various reason, but still worked harder than a lot of people give him credit for

We certainly haven't had six months service from him since he signed permanently. Sorry meant to say. When we signed him. I would love him to come good. I just can't see it happening. He's too set in his ways. Please prove me wrong ADE!!!

Some very unsympathetic posts about Ade here, he's had one great season and one poor season. Why withdraw support and mug him off just for that bad season? He has show his ability in his first season. I saw a great interview with him recently where he said he would fight to get into the team.

His brother has died not long ago, the dizziness could be very well brought on by the stress of losing his brother. Mental health is just as important as physical health.

I agree with most in that I hope he comes good again but I don't think he will. I watched too much of him last year hoping he would turn up but more often than not he didn't. We cannot have him the same for us this season as he did last. I understand that he has family issues etc and im sorry for that but he didn't have these issues last year. With all due respect ade, if you cant produce what is expected then you should go, I hope your head gets better I really do but we in my opinion have moved on from you now that we have soldado and defoe seems to be doing very well so far
