AVB - Fourth a must for Spurs

How the board could expect AVB to finish top 4 without giving him decent money to spend is beyond me.

We may have finished 4th last season but Chelsea Liverpool and Arsenal have all spent already (arse have sold their best player, but unlike us they've already bought their replacements).

To compound this, considering the successes of Harry and the inevitable pressure that would accompany his sacking, especially when his replacement is someone who has very recently failed in this league and is generally disliked in the media, surely hitting the ground running would be absolutely essential?

If we don't have the money, fair enough. But then why the unrealistic expectations? If we don't want to spend then why not just stick with Harry and his bargain buys?

This is really the most bemusing thing Levy has done whilst here and my confidence in him has been seriously diminished.

And then who do you want to appoint if AVB doesn't make it?

I don't know. But when belief is lost in the squad you won't get 4th and someone new could start from scratch.
Hopefully we won't come to that. Especially if the Nani rumour mill is true..very excited.

Obviously we need to sign some creativity to replace Modric .

We also need to improve upfront and haven't .

Look how easy Tevez and Van Persie made it all look yesterday . If you want to place in this league you need strikers of that calibre .

What I saw against West Brom looked like a side which is going to finish about 15 points behind whichever team comes third .
