It's 2013 now mate, maybe when we were challenging for 9/10th in the league that mind set would have been ok, a player cannot be playing 48 games in a season and not coming up with the goods.

A lot of people on here talk about us being a top 4 club and that we need top 4 players. Lennon would get no where near Man U, man city, Chelsea or arsenals squad why? Because they don't buy players who play in the final third of the pitch to defend

Lennon has for most parts had a pretty effective season and his width and pace can change games, that said he does suffer from the inconsistency gene which effects a large number of our players and is responsible in some part for our inability to break consistently in to the top four and deliver cup success
