Dembele clearly wasn't fit. Neither Hudd or Parker would start if Sandro and Dembele were available. Not bad squad players either. I thought Vertonghen was good at left back and we needed the additional height of Caulker. Obviously Ekotto isn't rated either.

My only concern was Dempsey starting ahead of Siggy and Dempsey has left me feeling an idiot

I thought Lennon did alright today, and just him being on the pitch free's up space for other players.

It's 2013 now mate, maybe when we were challenging for 9/10th in the league that mind set would have been ok, a player cannot be playing 48 games in a season and not coming up with the goods.

A lot of people on here talk about us being a top 4 club and that we need top 4 players. Lennon would get no where near Man U, man city, Chelsea or arsenals squad why? Because they don't buy players who play in the final third of the pitch to defend
