Of course this concept might have been better if I could have been bothered to track down any of the articles thus far... if no one adds anything before I'll do it later, and bump this... :)

Why don't you just start a thread detailing the Daily Mail's schizophrenic approach to journalism full stop ?

Is there a point when you accept a "negative" article about AVB is justified, say come Christmas we're hovering around 12/13th in the table is it ok then for the media to give him a kicking ?

Added them, I stuck the TeamTalk article under neutral, because by pro, I mean unabashedly pro-AVB, in a similar way to the way the others are unabashedly negative. I thought the Talksport was humorous, so not entirely sure it should be called negative, but I stuck it there anyway.

Yes. Articles which are negative but reasonable go under neutral. It's not that he shouldn't be criticised if he gets it wrong.

Anyway, for all we know this will result in as many neutral/positive articles as negative ones, it could just be we're suffering from a persecution complex. Time will tell.

The concept would be even better still if you were then to compare it to pro and anti articles about the other managers too. You could start with Brendan Rogers for example.

I think I'm starting to regret this idea... :)

It's an interesting point about Brendan Rodgers. Maybe i'm stuck in a spurs bubble but he doesn't seem to have been getting the unfair treatment that AVB has. Especially considering that Liverpool haven't lost any of their 'best' players and have had a worst start to the season the spurs.

Liverpool didn't sack Harry Redknapp , or employ someone who failed at Chelsea last season and is still mainly a figure of fun for the media
