Fraud vs delusional
You decide
Usual hard to understand stuff then!
I think his problem is that he never understood what our project actually was and thought we'd go out and spend fortunes on whoever he fancied, yet he's never been involved with transfers anywhere he's been! He really should go and work for PSG or something then he can get his money-no-object players. It's clear to me that his self-belief/arrogance is what holds him back from succeeding; see Carlo Ancelotti if you want an example of a man who can control a large club without ego.
I liked him but he's his own worst enemy

Sorry, what's the source on this? Everyone seems to be taking it as fact.Quotes about the long term direction of the club:
Well he promised us attacking football...
I am not trying to defend "all of" Andre here but he proved at Porto that he doesn't need a huge budget
I am not trying to defend "all of" Andre here but he proved at Porto that he doesn't need a huge budget. In his first season he did spend wisely. However, though I was very much for the appointment of Andre, I was also for letting him go when Levy decided it was time for that.
About ego: there is no top head-coach/manager without a huge ego; particularly not at Real M. Ancelotti simply know how to use his ego the "right" way. Without an ego the ego-stars will push you aside, showing you no respect; but if one show it off too much then one will alienate the players. It's a balancing game.
I don't believe for a single moment that Tim is an ego-less guy.
Yay we've been bumped out of the ITK thread.
Anyway: he wants control but not responsibility.
He isolates the first team, yet wants to to formulate the direction of the club.
He's so full of contradictions. No wonder the players were a bit confused.
I thought it was just media-baiting double-speak but i'm ever more convinced that his message is contradictory and confused; Everything he says is, anyway.
With such a list of qualities he'd make a fantastic addition to British politics...Think I just agreed with a record number of posts in a row here.
We've got this guy's number alright, hey lads?
'Delusion'
'Ego'
'Immature'
'Regressing'
'Stagnated'
'Deflect blame'
Thanks Andre, you dug your own grave, mate.
Unsurprisingly i agree with him about the club and Levy. The bald one talks a good game but i wouldnt trust him as far as i could throw him.
Dont agree with talking about past clubs though, dislike it from every manager that does it. which is most of them.
Why is everybody ignoring and I quote "situations that exceed sport" bit?
What is he alluding to here?
