There is a lot to admire about Andre, but then I thought the same about Martin Jol, especially his post match interviews for example. At the end of the day it's the whole package that has to be right, dressing room, training, performances on pitch, press...

So far I am impressed enough to hope that AVB is here for the long haul.

As for the actual comments, you can tell there is anger towards Chelsea in the way they behaved on the Willian affair.

Yep, loved how Jol handled the media... alas by all accounts his Spurs dressing room wasn't the best, ah well.

Think we are just a player or two away from a genuine top squad and manager.

I'm loving it now we're seeing more and more of AVB's sarcastic side coming out to the media. It's brilliant!

He's such an intelligent man, intelligent manager. One year in and I'm still delighted he's our manager, and the man to lead us onwards!

I wouldn't mind him signing a new contract over the course of this season. We need to get that tied up ASAP imo.

His press conferences prior to games have been great, too. I didn't mind Harry at all, but I do much prefer how AVB handles the press and the media in general, ie he's rarely in it other than press conferences, which I'm sure Levy prefers too.
