All these kind of discussions make me wonder. Consider your own lives. You are working I suppose for some company. Suppose you like or even love your job, appreciate your co-workers inferiors and superiors, and think everything is going in the right way. A rival company offers you twice the salary, plus the means and freedom to implement all of your ideas. What do you do?

Not saying that there is anything to the PSG in for AVB rumours, but speaking in general.

Yes, but what if the rival company then has standards to which you don't comply and you are sacked ignominiously after less than half a year? If a smaller company, though not much smaller, gave you another chance with your reputation in tatters - do you make the same error?

Not happening.

One reason because, Laudrup aside, there's literally no one else we could bring in.

I think you are forgetting about a certain Mr Pleat? Also I seen Mr Francis on TV the other day I'd reappoint him on his mullet alone!! Lol we have came sooooo far!!

the article in question speaks about a number of candidates e.g Hiddink etc.....i think it is lazy trash journalism again. Besides i dont think DL will let him go and i dont think Andre wants to build a reputation of being a one season manager per club. Its a bit like Perez's wank jizz over the last few weeks over Bale.

Didn't Av meet up with Levy & Lewis while in the Bahamas recently to negotiate a new deal, or was that someone else?

worse case scenario for us is that PSG get Wenger and then Arsenal get someone who will actually spend a lot of money on proven players

If Levy allowed AVB to go it would be like waving a white flag.
It would show that he has no ambition whatsoever other then a finacial one in improving the club. It would be a sign to the players especially Bale that we are a halfway house and that they should accept any offers from bigger clubs with more ambition. Threfore in my opinion there is no way that Levy will let him go as I do believe hes real ambition is to make us a super power in world football. Trouble is his way is a lot slower then most people on here like.

His real ambition is to make a profit, there's a clue in the name of the company that owns us

Yes. No.

They are investing not asset stripping. They are arent looking to make a quick 10m then run off all the way to the bank laughing. They would be fucking dopey.

No I never said they were lookingto make £10m, unless I missed part of my own post. Once the stadium's built our value rockets.

Strange they are willing to buy out avb and offer him 10 mil a year but not to ancelotti. Surely he will stay if given that money. Even Real Madrid can't complete with oil money if it comes down to that

Well, I for one think that David Pleat is worthy of respect by us. He assembled a great team and was close to achieving some big things for our club.

Anyway, back to the point, Andre is far too clever to be seen to be jumping ship too soon. That would do considerable damage to his reputation which he is in the process of restoring after the Chelscum experience. Success a Tottenham will make him even more desirable and he'll be able to move on with pride with the Chelscum months a mere blip.

Was meaning no dissrespect to either men but can you imagine the reaction if either were appointed for the up comign season? SC would be in meltdown!

And yes I agree AVB is going no where.

Also he would not want to be seen as the guy who couldn't hack the Premier League, he'd be a laughing stock. I also suspect PSG would sack him if he failed to win the CL at the first attempt. Where would he go then?

The odds of been cut from 33/1 to 2/1... I really really hope they're just doing as a precaution to save money. If Andre left, I could see Bale going out as well. It would hurt big time.
