OK, this is the thread to discuss who is/was worse for us, AVB or Mr. Gilet himself, Tim Sherwood.

A poll has been created for your benefit and this is the place for the biggest bitch fights on SC.

Now for my opinion: For me, AVB was worse because under him, not only could we not defend but we also couldn't attack as well. At least under Tim, we can't defend but we can show some attacking intent against the lower mid-table/relegation fighters (e.g. Manchester United)

So, what do you think?

Edit- the options in the poll are for who is worse.

There's no doubt AVB is a better manager. He's got a few things to learn before he becomes a very good one though. He has to become more dynamic in his thinking.

Tim just needs to go off and do his badges for starters.

Tim is worse because at least we had a philosophy, a plan and tactics in the games with Andre. Also because Andre did not absolve himself of blame and publicly berate the players, like Dum Dum does.

Poll-fail. Because the correct option is that they are much of a muchness: neither is good enough to take us where we want to go this season or in the future. Tim's too attacking, AVB was too defensive, but in terms of who would be a better Tottenham manager then the differences are pretty neglible - neither of them are up to it.

You need to edit the poll title to make it clear whether people are voting for which of the two they think is better or which of the two they think is worse.

In fact, just deleting this thread altogether would probably be a better idea. ;)

AVB was better slightly, mainly because he didn't come across like a attention hungry knob, you say we look better going forward, I don't think we do, most of our goals have come from Adebayors good form since Tims been in charge,.

It makes me angry that we were stuck with either of them.

A blind man could have seen that Brendan Rodgers was the man we should have brought in as manager, yet we ended up with that clown AVB and now Sherwood.

Biggest fucking mistake in the last 20 years!!!!

third option is missing

- they are an equal volume of shite

Or perhaps - Fourth option: I really couldn't give a shit about this petty AVB/Sherwood crap. I'm past the point of caring and I just want the season to finish and start from fresh in the summer after the World Cup.

Poor under both; we have looked more shambolic under Sherwood because he has been less risk averse, but the results have remained the same because the underlying strengths and weaknesses are the same.

Too many players being integrated, too many injuries, not enough leaders on the pitch, not enough Premiership experience on the pitch or in the dugout.

Tim gets the nod from me mainly because I prefer angry frustration to dogged persistence.

I believed in AVB's project,
In 10-20 years, I was certain that we would have been playing attractive football

Levy pulled the plug too early.
